Depends on how easily retrievable it is. Some of those will definitely end up in museums, other ones that can't be easily retrieved will be destroyed.

They already have better copies they can buy from Afghanistan if they wanted to inspect Bradleys and MRAPs, its better to just bombard them until they're completely destroyed. Russia has a real intelligence agency and military so they're fully aware of the particulars for all of these vehicles dating back to their first introduction in the 1970s and 1980s.

Jihadi Julian has been a lolcow in this scene since at least 2011 during Libya, and was literally foaming at the mouth supporting ISIS because he bit into the Obama "Moderate Rebels" hook line and sinker. He does this stunt every time, he believes the government's propaganda, and then slowly the incongruities add up and he becomes almost sane. We're hitting the end stage of this war where he is finally scrutinizing shit like a reasonable person.

Must say, I do feel bad for the poor bastards who were stuck in those vehicles.

Just a few weeks ago they got plucked by komissars from the streets of Odessa, sent to some cold western shithole, put through a half-assed training program where a Canadian native woman with no combat experience berated them for weeks just for being white males, then dropped in barely-working rusting western tanks still sporting desert camo in a forest environment, and forced to drive straight into a Russian minefield or artillery fire. Brutal.

I think they get mentally assessed first. I doubt many of the Ukraine solders have much loyalty left to their country's leadership after being used as literal cannon fodder. They might get rehabilitation or prison camp or executed depending on the strength of their loyalties and their crimes.

One of the most craziest things about the destroyed convoy is that the Leopard 2A6 is one of the most common modern versions of the Leopard 2, having been developed and adopted in the late 1990s and adopted by many countries in 2000-2019. Besides Germany and Ukraine, the NATO countries of Finland, Netherlands, Canada, Greece, and Portugal still use the 2A6 in active service. It's also 1 version away from the most updated version of the Leopard 2, the Leopard 2A7 (the 2A8 is still being developed).

This means that pro-Ukrainians cannot say that because NATO gave 1980s-tier stuff to Ukraine (since the Leopard 2A4 and Bradleys were made in the 1980s) and not modern wunderwaffe was the reason they are losing in the 2023 Summer Counter-offensive. From the Ukrainian tactics in the convoy, if they continue to do these attacks, all these modern NATO wunderwaffe will suffer the same fate, such as F-16s, which Ukraine has coveted so badly. In addition, this only drives up Russian propaganda, but also makes all non-Western countries considering whether if they should buy or keep using NATO equipment or not, because of the poor results being used in the war.

I think at this point, I think the consensus of the thread has already agreed that these are not PROOOBING attacks. Now because we see the most modern equipment that NATO has given to Ukraine in this, I can confirm that today is Day 6 of the Ukrainian Summer counter-offensive (since June 4), and so far, they have not net gained a single village, because every time they capture a village, they get kicked out by the Russian Armed Forces.

At this point it should be a given that Russia has complete air superiority across the whole of Ukraine and that the HIMARS are fucked. These tanks are getting smoked in a line not because it's an attacking formation, but because it's a convoy to get to a SAFE AREA TO REGROUP AND START THE COUNTER ATTACK. There is no safe ground between here and Kiev and unless the Ukrainians tunnel underground to get to their new Bakhmut regroup ground considering actual Bakhmut is destroyed, they're gonna get picked off the second they enter an open field.

And yes, tunnelling underground is logistically impossible so yeah, they're fucked. At this point it's more likely that Russia will hit a convoy coming straight out of Poland than the chances of Ukraine managing to get their convoy straight to the frontlines.
