The solution to pollution is dilution.
Remove any batteries, damaged fuel containers, etc that might be around.
Haul in some fresh topsoil to cover where critter graves are.
Plant some things that are native to the area to help prevent soil erosion.
Mulch where needed.
Wait.
The land will heal.
And if you need a permit to actually do anything with this useless land in the 20-30 years minimum it will take? Lmao good luck.

Also does that lunar landscape look like you can just lay down topsoil and grow grass? It's scrubland at best. You'd need serious (and expensive) xeriscaping with low-impact, slow-growing plants.

I mean, it's rural Colorado. Any ranching is going to take work (and irrigation) to get going.
If someone just wanted it for personal use, not commercial, there would be less needs for permits, though I would suggest getting it looked over by the health department before purchasing.

Nature's pretty tough. It'll shake off the nastiness like it has in so many other places.

So why would you pick a completely ruined property that will cost more than it's worth as well as several years just to turn back into the scrubland you could just buy by the acre anywhere else in the region?

It will, but I think we'll still be dealing with a zone rouge situation where parts of the land remain inhospitable for decades to come.

Ah, I knew there was something keeping me from wanting to live in Colorado. It's good to be reminded.
You, as in the collective you, not you as in @FatalTater

It is extremely arid and marginal bad-lands in the middle of nowhere. On a mountain where almost nothing grows and shrubs might take decades to grow to a feet or two. There is a reason why not even trees grow there. And then complain that "council will not let me pump groundwater (that might not exist) to irrigate a piece of sterile barren rock and gravel where nothing will grow."

I mean, it is like buying a hundred acres in the Saharas and then complaining that "why can't I grow tomatoes here?"

As always, love the contrast:

The backyard has been grazed down to the dirt, so they moved the animals over to the front & side yards, Apparently it isn't fully fenced in, because Penny warned Jen to not let the animals go out onto the road. Wonder how long it'll take before an animal escapes or gets run over... Also how long it'll take before this part of the property becomes a moonscape as well. Hmmm.

Something slightly curious I noticed is that there are only three goats in these videos (two of the white babies and the black adult). 🧐

Anyway, Bonnie made a few tweets:

Claims that the Tranchers weren't evicted, but rather left of their own volition. This is true - Bonnie was too lazy & cowardly to start the official eviction process. I think what really got the Tranchers spooked & packing up in a hurry was when Bonnie threatened to contact the FBI and ATF about their militia activity and (alleged) illegal weapons. That whole mini-saga with the extremely suspicious "ex-fed" explosives manufacturer was crazy. Very thunkful too...

Bonnie doesn't like when people post that tacticool "rescue mission" picture, lol.

The folks pictured are part of the Tenacious Unicorn Ranch. It’s a working ranch and a safe haven. They just want to be left alone.
This guy is a "Disinformation expert", btw. 🙄

Oh, check this out. Bonnie retweeted and replied to Fedposter J's e-begging thread.

"Much love"... How stupid and/or gullible could Bonnie possibly be?
I distinctly remember Fedposter J saying all sorts of nasty stuff about him when Bonnie started his big Tranch call-out back in December. He even accused Bonnie of being a rapist, IIRC. Not to mention that Fedposter J is like the prime suspect for inviting the "squatters" to the Tranch after Penny & co left. I would even bet that Fedposter was the one who personally vandalized Bonnie's car.

How long have their website been set to private? Was it before Bonnie's picture dump on twitter?
It was privated back in March when the Tranchers went into DFE-mode.

Hmm, is it possible Bonnie is being sarcastic and rubbing J’s face in it here? Or is it an attempt to be the good guy and turn the other cheek?
Man these people are weird, it was at least refreshingly honest when Bonnie started decrying TUR as grifters and fuckups, I don’t know why he’d have any sympathy for J at all.

Edit: I think he’s trying to triangulate J as a fellow tranch victim - remember his main complaint prior to The Trashening was that the “trans haven” was all a lie and they were basically exploiting and then ditching vulnerable weirdos.

Gramlich’s commentary is spot on, for once:

Phil wrecking his inheritance before his parents get to escape this mortal coil. They're nutty enough to not disown him after he gelded himself so I suppose they're fine with him ruining their property.
