I just had to look into this a little further, I didn't spot the victim's age in your link, only that the victim was "underaged" and that Kaitlyn was 19. I was curious for a moment if this was a case that "Romeo and Juliet" laws should have covered, if it was like a 17 year old lesbian with intolerant parents that pounced on the fact that her girlfriend was 18/19. This is not the case.
Kaitlyn was 18, her victim was 14. That is far greater of an age difference than any R&J law will cover. If that isn't child molestation (I feel it is, both through statute and in practice, but I can see an argument for 18 being a "big kid" too), it's nestled right up to it and is abhorrent behavior. He's fucking disgusting for supporting her and minimizing the fact that she, as an adult, diddled a kid.

77 days and 300 pages later, still no trannyfesto. Last I checked, they were waiting until at least June 8th when the kids are out to release it, saying they didn't want this to interfere with attending school. Decided to go looking for some info.
An interesting update that happened over the weekend: Hale's parents decided to give ownership of the manifesto to the parents of the school students, who for some reason are trying to keep it from getting publicized. The lawyer representing them says they're afraid that releasing it could lead to another massacre. Except, when he made that statement, none of the parents have read the thing. I wonder if they'll change their minds after seeing it.

Article mentions that the Tennessee Governor Lee has been trying to push anti-gun legislation after citing this incident. If passed, police would be able to confiscate weapons for 180 days from those with mental health issues, ain't that a big fuckin surprise. The problem is that the Metro Nashville Police Department obtained copies of the manifesto left in Hale's car. According to the Tennessee Public Records Act, that means they're open for inspection by any citizen and can't be refused by those in charge of it. Or at least that's what JudicialWatch claimed when they filed a lawsuit to release the documents. (Archive)
So, has that gone anywhere? Not really, but it did give me some answers.
JudicialWatch uploaded the court hearing that happened on May 22nd, where the Metro Nashville Police Department "MNPD" Assistant Chief Mike Hagar (fucking lol, I hope he becomes mayor while wearing overalls) and Lieutenant Brent Gibson made statements about the status of the investigation and releasing the documents. (status of all documents are listed in last two pages in a table)
TLDR is this:
Chief Hagar claims that the MNPD is looking into everything that became known to them and doesn't want to release the whole trannyfesto because it could impede investigation. Releasing information prematurely could put the press, public and everyone in town and make getting to the bottom of this much harder, if not impossible. Though he's fine with a redacted version being released.
Lt. Gibson says not everyone has been interviewed, these investigations take time and he predicts that it'll be around 12 months until it's wrapped up. He compared it with other murder-suicide cases that seem obvious that take around 8 months to finish.
My thoughts on this is that at the very least, it does look like the manifesto is real and there is some really damning shit in there to the point where the police have a lot of work to do. Other manifestos that I've seen get released immediately after are just verbal sperging without anyone else going down for it (unless it was uploaded by the actual perpetrator). 78 days later and still no troonifesto but we did get autopsy reports for the perpetrator. It appears the pooner indeed got lit the fuck up and my only regret is that the cops were so thorough that she probably didn't suffer a whole lot before shuffling off of this mortal coil. You seriously think they wouldn't check for testosterone levels? She had parents that didn't support her delusion in a state where they put more safeguards on things like that than most other places in the country. Most likely she wasn't able to get a prescription or felt she wasn't in a place in her life to medically transition without people noticing. The autopsy labeling her female shows to me that it wasn't an ideologically captured person doing the investigating. Testosterone also affects the cardiovascular system and all notes on it show it as normal. Average female heart weight is 230-280 grams while male is 280-340 grams. Hers was listed as 200, below even female average.
Why can't you people accept that women (especially lesbians) can be batshit insane and do horribly cruel things? Women can do evil all on their own.

I'm not implying that it must have been the testosterone therapy [if she were indeed receiving it] that caused it, just saying that if she had indeed started on it very recently and may have still been adjusting to it, it could be related. Being a deranged troon is enough, of course, but the statistics indicate either that men are more likely to be disaffected and disenfranchised enough to carry out mass shootings or that testosterone plays some role in the decision to commit homicide, or most likely a mixture of both factors. The vast majority of men find productive outlets for that anger and rage, but those that don't can occasionally end up in a school cafeteria toting a rifle wondering how the fuck they got there.
I was hoping they would list the results on the autopsy, though this is not common practice as far as I know because I've read a lot of autopsy reports and have never seen any section relating to hormones. It is particularly relevant in this case, though. I would certainly not be using said results to imply that the pooner herself was not responsible for her actions or to diffuse blame, rather I would be using it as yet another example that 'gender affirming care' and 'gender transition therapy' is a fucking dangerous can of worms to open and that it fucks up every single 'patient' in myriad ways that will not be fully understood for decades at least.
Hopefully it won't be going on a decade from now, but if it is we're going to have one hell of a fucking mess. A sizeable portion of two generations permanently sterilized, fucked up bones from stunted growth, all kinds of side effects of manipulating puberty like we're tweaking dials on an air conditioner. That was my primary point in mentioning, this shit is fucked up and dangerous and should not be provided to anyone regardless of what the "medical community" thinks of it. There's simply not enough evidence that "gender-affirming care" is effective in treating the condition, there's not enough evidence that "gender-affirming care" isn't going to permanently fuck up these people and furthermore plenty of evidence that it will, and there's no evidence that "gender dysphoria" responds better to this "treatment" than it would standard psychiatric care. You don't treat a schizophrenic patient by telling him that his furniture really is talking to him and that if the chair says he should kill his neighbors, he should do it. The "medical community" has flipped this logic and has decided that delusional mental states should be treated by affirming the delusions in this one special, particular case and it doesn't make any fucking sense.

The Brenda Spencer shootings took place in San Diego, CA.
It happens because we have the 2nd Amendment, supposedly. Nobody talks about the millions of gun owners who never shoot children.
Brenda Spencer was one messed up little girl.
She lived with her dad, they slept on a mattress together on the floor. She asked for a radio for Christmas but got a Ruger 10/22 with a scope and 500 rounds of ammunition. She said he bought the rifle so she could kill herself. It was later found she had a temporal lobe injury from a "bicycle accident". She is still incarcerated in a women's institution in Chino, CA and her last parole hearing was last year and the next won't be until 2025.
