Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

I'm mildly concerned that this site is pretty much my only source for actual news. The other is Funnyjunk but new news only shows up if they can meme it.
There are some good individual sources I follow but for aggregating a lot of different areas of interest in the news I don't know of anywhere better than KiwiFarms. Which yes, is worrying.

It was a horrible mistake. Becouse one asshole helped one pilot, that means countless innocents somehow needed to be put in camps. There wasn't a single example of any other Japanese Americans plotting against the nation.

The USA declassified a report in 1978 revealing that Japan was in constant communication with their US spy network via coded diplomatic cables.

Tokyo further requested from its diplomats in the USA thorough lists of all 1st and 2nd generation Japanese-Americans that they could potentially contract to recruit. The scope of this request is most likely the action that led the Roosevelt administration to take such sweeping measures.

Uki Dude spends 2 years training on a mig in america. immediately gets shot and killed in his first engagement.

Top gun is not happening. Not at this rate. They cant win this. It's the battle of Kursk but 10 times worse with literally no air support and their leadership is dead or hiding. At least the Nazi's breached the first line.

They've got maybe one last big push in em before mutiny's start happening I figure. There was already a vid way back of somebody fragging their captain with a grenade. I cant imagine they are happy about dying pointlessly.

krain needs to surrender and save their lives because Russia simply will not allow them to exist as a nation anymore.
There is nothing else but unconditional surrender on the table. They killed their nation the moment they tried to kill Putin.

Interesting, but this was before anybody was actually recruited correct? Same thing kinda happened with nazi's trying to get saboteurs into America, but most of it backfired and their spies ratted each other out. Nazi's had terrible intelligence and spy agency's. I doubt the Japanese were much better.

Despite the Czech Republic (or the EU) never having declared war on Russia and thus not having the legal or moral right to subject Russian citizens on their soil to punitive surveillance or reprisals, Czech President Petr Pavel said that Russian civilians living in the West should be monitored by security services, just like the Japanese-Americans were during WW2.

This piece of shit was a hardline communist who was openly praising the Warsaw Pact invasion in 1968 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prague_Spring and was the leader of a local Communist Party "base organization" (a low level party org). He was a professional soldier (as opposed to a conscript) and in training to be a literal Czechoslovak glownigger. Unfortunately for him, the regime fell before his training was finished - so after the Velvet Revolution in 1989 he immediately threw away his party documents and spent the next 30 years slobbering all over NATO's circumcised knob, which rewarded him with the position of Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, and then, eventually, being a president - because he's "presentable" and had the entire liberal media behind him, which is enough to make most women's cooters tingle, which in turn is enough to declare a geriatric Bolshevik "a new hope for our democracy".

This is part of the military oath that this fucker willingly, not forcefully like so many others, swore and did his best to uphold:

For the defense of socialism, I am always ready to stand firm in the ranks of the armed forces of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic alongside the Soviet Army and the armies of other socialist countries in the fight against its enemies and risk my life to achieve victory.

This same motherfucker is now in the news constantly, telling everyone how we must gas the Rus. If we were invaded by fucking space aliens, this spineless piece of shit would be on TV within an hour, declaring how he's spent all his life looking at the stars, hoping that the Glorious Blarg'argghjl Empire would come and elevate humanity by harvesting our biomass. This motherfucker is greasy even for a politician - really, just the perfect person to lead an EU nation into the glorious future.

That same GAO report on Pentagon procurement highlighted that more than half of major programs are experiencing delays, and for many of those programs, this is the second or third year in a row of continued deferments. While the particular reasons vary, the trend is stark: new weapon systems and modernization programs are often not meeting their set delivery schedules.
If I'm reading this right, the states attempts to speed up production of weapons for Ukraine may have started to throw the entire rube goldberg supply chain out of balance and now the gears are binding

Pentagon Cannot Confirm Ukraine Bradley Losses, Despite Footage Showing Bradley Losses
:story:
The Pentagon cannot confirm the loss of US-made armored vehicles in Ukraine.
:story:
The Pentagon definitely, absolutely cannot confirm that this video that shows several M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles casually driving into a kill zone and exploding has been circulating online for everyone to see.

Is that really Ukraine’s fault? Like, I’m sure it’s not helping, but I thought budget overruns and delays were pretty much the status quo for military contracting and procurement.

Ukrain kept demanding more and more forcing the US to try to speed up some things, which considering how complicated the Jit pipeline is needs to propagate through the manufacturing companies, and doing so problably caused other stuff to be deprioritized, which radiated up their respective development streams.

What a useles picture, we cant see what destroyed it because its to fucking close... damn tiktok generation needs to learn how to take pictures...

Zalushny is also MIA, not seen public for weeks. What's going on, hohols?
Internal conflicts i qoueld guess. lsoing a war is pretty dangerous for leadership and somebody has to get the blame and get shot.

It's the roof/turret of a Leopard 2A4, completely rekt and peeled off like cardboard, and while I don't know the exact circumstances it was mentioned there was one death from it.

That armor isn't 40mm; its not even as thick as that soldier's sole. This is an older tank. Maybe Bogdan will have better luck with the old Merkavas they're reportedly trying to buy from the Chosen but I doubt it.

There is no Wunderwaffe in the world that can change the outcome of this war. The only thing that might make a difference is all those keyboard warriors getting their fat asses yanked from their gaming chairs and being thrown into the meatgrinder, but that might make it worse if it spurs China to enter the chat.

Second and third gen German-Americans weren't sent to internment camps.

America admitted it was a mistake and a serious violation, and it was.
The germans weren't sent to internment camps but german culture died out after ww2 which can't be said for the nips; it was easier to intern the japs because they were concentrated and fewer in number than germans (although 11k+ germans were interned).

How do you think another US war with Mexico would go down with Mexican-Americans?
Way better than how a Chinese-American war would go down, which would see internment of chinese people. Because the spics aren't smart enough to commit espionage like the chinese currently do.

I've seen forklift fenders thicker than that sheet metal. There's not even any obvious framework to mount spall protection underneath, even though I'm certain something of the sort is present on the Leopards the west uses. Removing the glass-fibre and ceramics from your lend-lease vehicles just so more slavs will die is low even for Germans.

I mean, even the EN Wikipedia page pretty much admits as much: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Petr_Pavel#Early_life_and_education

The old oath is here: https://acr-army-cz.translate.goog/..._sl=cs&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=wapp

I have seen scans of his Party file which describes him as a stellar member of the party highly devoted to the cause of socialism, the terms "ideologically excellent" and "class-conscious" make unironic appearances, but it's all in Czech, so if you and your friends don't speak the language, you won't get much mileage out of it. There are some news articles that mention it that you can run through a translator, like this one: https://www-parlamentnilisty-cz.tra..._sl=cs&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=wapp

That one has one of the pictures of his pre-revolution papers; it's a recommendation for the medal Za službu vlasti - "For service to the motherland". Here's a slightly bigger version; you might find something better if you put "petr pavel kadrovy posudek" into a search engine and switch to images and limit the results to .cz domains, but I can't be bothered at the moment.

Cpt. Pavel is class-conscious and politically mature. As a party member, he helps reinforce the leading role of the Party among the men when performing his duties. He actively tries to recruit others for this political side. His politically-ideological awareness is good. He has good knowledge of M-L [Marxism-Leninism] and he can use it in his work.

[2nd paragraph is about technicalities of his duties, leadership, blah blah, not important enough to translate]

For his enduring, selfless, and excellent work in his function, I recommend that Cpt. Pavel be awarded the medal "For Service to the Motherland".
[Signature] Commander of the 22. airborne brigade, Ing. Jiří SUDSKÝ, 31 March 1988

Here's another source that has the pic in a better resolution but cropped, although the important part is there (third image; the first two aren't very interesting). Note that it's just some dude's blog, not a news site: https://www-pruvodce-info.translate..._sl=cs&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=wapp

And if you're antagonizing people, consider also Igor Stříž. He's the current Czech equivalent of Prosecutor General; when the invasion started, he immediately went on record saying that anyone "condoning" the invasion will be facing up to 3 years in jail (sauce). Stříž started his career as a communist military prosecutor in the late 80s, where his main job was sending conscientious objector who refused to be conscripted and forcibly swear the same oath as Mr. President willingly and enthusiastically did into prison (sauce1, sauce2). Now he's another one of the biggest anti-Russian warriors.

Ukrain kept demanding more and more forcing the US to try to speed up some things, which considering how complicated the Jit pipeline is needs to propagate through the manufacturing companies, and doing so problably caused other stuff to be deprioritized, which radiated up their respective development streams.

The burgeroids could just say no, the coke kike has no power over them, he's a seething beggar.

The germans weren't sent to internment camps but german culture died out after ww2 which can't be said for the nips; it was easier to intern the japs because they were concentrated and fewer in number than germans (although 11k+ germans were interned).

The Japanese were also identifiable at first glance.

Jesus, this is just fucking insane. They're not even reaching the first line of Russian defense. Millions upon millions of dollars of equipment burning in open fields destroyed by extremely cheap lancet drones. This is just pathetic.

As a reminder, the West is peeling off a lot of advanced armor from these tanks because they don't want them to fall into Russian hands. The Abrams that are going over there right now have armor from the 1980s and have been stripped of the modern systems to not fall into Russian hands. So they're not going to be 100% effective, though they wouldn't be anyway. We haven't even seen the Chinese anti-armor shit the Russians have gotten yet.

There's really nothing that can salvage this, the amount of losses they're taking for the territory they're gaining is completely unsustainable.

This is why you don't use JIT for military stuff. Jit is for luxury cars and other luxury goods where you don't want it sitting on a shelf and its not a problem if it takes time to deliver it, as it is part of the Pull branch where demand spurs production.

But basic stuff is Push branch, where you -know- it will be needed, and it can sit on shelves, so you churn it out and it will be bought. Sugar, flour, coca cola, and in a sane world ammunition belongs here.
