It's not just that, he's a musician in the same way some 13 year old who writes fanfiction is a writer. Just being able to bang on the keys doesn't make you a musician. There are people out there that know how to actually play instruments and they're not musicians.

The one bit of credit I will give Russ is that he knows you have to sell what you've got. Noone wants to spend time with (or bang) a guy who doesn't share his passions and/or achievements. His problem there is that his achievements are incredibly pathetic and so are his passions. He has absolutely nothing to sell.

So yes, I think he'll try and leverage being on TV every chance he gets, including in his wooing.

It's hard to tell from his picture and video (much of the Nevada landscape starts too look the same) but to my eye it looks more like the routes to California, Utah, Arizona, or Laughlin, NV than taking Blue Diamond road till it turns to whatever highway it eventually turns into to go to Pahrump (you practically are driving directly between mountains for much of the ride there). I'm thinking a possible father's day meetup disguised as "look I'm taking a mini vacation". But keep in mind this is pure sperg conjecture and some of the ride there CAN look like that. Also could be route to Jean/Primm/Goodsprings, NV.
