Yeah my first thought was Aunt Gayle from Bob's Burgers. Crazy seeing her face age like that. Lets take a look at what makes it uncanny.

I guess it boils down to "regardless of what I am/do, you don't get to label me". So no one's allowed to see her as a homosexual woman, they have to see her as a lesbian-adjacent non-binary, because that's what she is. A binary person can't appreciate the distinction because we don't have the lived experience, so we need to do better and listen to NB voices. And it's an era not a condition because an NB can flip eras whenever they want, that's just one of their powers, kind of like how binnos might get assigned multiple orgasms or pee standing up at birth.
She's special in other words. Not like the other sexes or sexualities. She's unique.
