I am getting flashbacks to Lion King 2019 from this news.

Also

Another Marvel actor has been accused of sexual assault, this time it is Tenoch Huerta who played Namor in Black Panther 2, which isn't a loss but it makes you think about the Marvel casting for recent Marvel films only to have the actors turn out to be creeps, like between Jonathan Majors and this, it makes you think.

OH, she was the little girl from that Baron Munchausen movie Terry Gilliam did! God, that was such a good movie. And she was pretty good in it, too!

On October 15, 2017, Polley wrote an op-ed piece in The New York Times detailing her experience with Harvey Weinstein and with Hollywood's treatment of women generally, and making a connection between Hollywood's gendered power relations and Polley's not having acted in years.
Shame she had to become a #MeToo bitch and seep her tentacles near another beloved Disney classic.

"live-action Bambi remake" sounds like the premise for a comedy skit not a real project. Like they've gone through everything else they could possibly remake and all they have left is either Bambi or Song of the South. Apparently Bambi won the coin toss. If you thought realistically rendered lions had a hard time emoting, wait till you see realistic deer not emoting at all. Because they don't, because they're deer.
Hyperactive Zoomers will surely flock to this tragic slowpaced animal documentary that will be three hours long for no discernible reason.

Its already been made as a skit...which is probably still 100 times better than the official live action will be.

The only Disney live action remake I'll kind of admit to liking is the old 101 Dalmatians remake from 1996 (think I may still have the VHS somewhere), but then again I haven't actually watched it in 15-20 years so it might of just been me being a dumb kid with no standards.
I loooved the movie as a child. Now as an adult I see that it has its flaws but it's still good. Let's pray to every god out there that woke Disney doesn't make another remake. Roger & Anita would be black, Cruella would be a raging gay black drag queen & Horace & Jasper would be a gay mixed race couple.

Admit it: most of the "goodness" comes from Glenn Close's performance as Cruella, which I have to admit, was 10/10 casting. But nah, it's pretty bland and forgettable otherwise. Which is still miles better than the current live-action goyslop the Rat is pushing out nowadays.

Yeah I'll admit since I was the type of kid who'd watch anything with animals in it regardless of quality and the fact that there where god knows how many Dalmatians in the film made it a favorite.
Probably also the reason why I remember liking one or two Air Bud movies and Homeward Bound, but like with 101 its been 15-20 years since I watched any of those films.

How does a Pixar movie cost the almost the same as a Marvel movie? I get they constantly are working on their in-house tech on each film, but it should not equate 10's of effect houses compiling thousands of shots, plus live action filming on top of that. At this point, these things should be shat out at about $50-75 million a pop.
