Shortly after he does the rumble switch on tonight's stream, nick started talking about hating the switch again and talked about renegotiating this part of the contract when his term is up.

HOWEVER, I think this is the fist time he mentioned the possibility of rumble choosing to not renew the contract. It was just a short one liner but I have never heard of him saying it until today.

Incomplete log tonight, ends at 1:30 central. Seems unlikely he got over $100 for the night. YT was $382 and 2907.

A rewrite is planned this weekend but not a guarantee. After that i will do a source release. Unfortunately it's not a run and done type of thing and it takes constant tweaking because of site changes. The rewrite will hopefully make that way easier as the major sticking points will be tweakable in a unified location. Some coding knowledge and basic brain power will be required though.

Not planning on stopping to log completely but it's a low priority as of now. It's also not super useful aside from key streams without a database backed to plot trends. Looking into if i can get an ai to at least get me the foundation of the sql stuff that i hate.

The first? lol.

"I'm not the, uh, I'm not the biggest fan of dogs in general, but mostly because I don't wanna take care of them, it's not that I, you know, don't like them or think any other people shouldn't like them, I just, I don't like taking care of - I already got 5 kids, I don't wanna take care of dogs also."

What did he mean by this?

Was he about to say something else?

I love starting off the show with hearing about dead dogs, cats, grandkids, grandmas and 3rd cousins. This trend of all these toasts isn't the reason I stopped watching but it really doesn't help keep the pace and mood of a show to interrupt it constantly with that negative stuff that is only interesting to the person who sent the chat.

Edit to add if the clip and context wasn't clear, Nick's reason for bringing up dogs was in response to someone giving him $50 to toast a dead pup.

Edit: Now he's throwing star wars and the beatles in the trash WTF I love Rekieta now. I feel like he's trying to piss off specific people with this rant though
He mocked anime and video game story telling a few tines in the past couple years but he always maintained a dislike of star wars and the Beatles the entire time his channels been around, albeit with respect for what the works did to their own artform. In fact I remember one stream where he realized after a year or two of saying "How embarrassing" that Yoda uses that line in one movie and that his wife teased him over it.

Simpler times, before the great coomening
Nick is really dropping the Unbreaded segment? That's like the highlight of his stream, what on earth compelled him to do something so dumb?
Unbreaded was a tired segment, I started skipping it months ago personally, next he needs to axe all those damn toasts.

Every time someone is upset or there is some contention surrounding Rekieta he just goes "I dunno, I guess?" It's not even like I expect him to take ownership it's just that constantly bringing attention to his every beef while expecting no flack over any of it is just monstrously self centered.

Even Ralph will go "Yeah I guess I shouldn't have called that guy's wife a whore." Even Ralph has more potential for introspection than Rekieta right now and if you know anything about Ralph that's a scary fact.

Nah, this has been his brand ever since he started appearing on flashcast (which started because of reviewing the redo of healer anime)
Animus are used to being despised.
Also he pissed off the guy that was running his Linktree, which is why it's no longer working lmao.
LOL! What is the lore there!

Remember the multipl YT mod squad, the clippers being positive, and the timestampers? Where have the Nosetorain Guard gone?
Every stream now has an obligatory "The haters don't bother me" segment.

*Someone is unexpectedly mad with you*

Nick: What can I do? I can't possibly ask why and have an adult discussion. I just ignore them.

Nick, that makes you a user. You are using your fans to prop up the show, and you have been for years.

Intro song: Fan. Channel logo: Fan. Moderators: fan. Venue researcher in Vegas and Nashville: both fans. End of the show song: Fan. Intermission song: fan, again.

I could keep going...

Doesn't he own a dog or two?

Always with the vague "haters". Will not specifically call out Kiwi Farms as the reason for his kvetching. I've seen this with other youtubers/streamers before, and this is the death knell. The streamer gets criticism for something, then starts talking about haters. It's key to the parasocial relationship because most people don't want to be labeled a "hater". Then slowly the audience realizes that the streamer is being irrational, and the number dwindles until he is surrounded only by a small group of non-haters.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't linktree just about the simplest thing to maintain on the internet? Like maybe there's a verification bit but otherwise it's just fucking links like wow, why you need someone else to maintain a linktree? Like just copy and paste. What a stupid fat lazy pollack.

If I could take back being one of the people who convinced him to do his first stream with Viva Frie I would. I just thought it would be funny to see them both on stream together because of the noses. I regret that show contribution.

You can see the physical effects of fighting cognitive dissonance when he's speaking here. He looks pained when he's trying to say something while still guarding his ego from taking true responsibility. He went from "This is who I am, and this is who I've always been" to "The Friday shows were not me". He copes more about how "creators" are just incapable of taking criticism and how it's totally the right thing to ignore criticism because you haaaaave to as a "creator".

The most interesting part of this to me, however, is the sneaky way he tries to rewrite history by redefining degeneracy. Maybe it's just me, but I don't define having a dark sense of humor, jokes, and violent TV shows as degenerate. I don't define "sex" as degenerate either if you choose to leave out all context and stick with that one word. He's trying to obfuscate what "degeneracy" is in a really gay lawyer way to poison the well of past, present, and future criticism but comes off as a fucking retard to anyone with half a brain.

Edit: Formatting. Gave up on the local archive.

That's one of the things I constantly wanted to point out before I had an account but was still reading the thread. Especially as it pertains to "I'm a grifter". It's a way to tell the truth through a joke in a way that makes people think "It's not serious" but then when people realize it actually is serious he can say "I've always been honest about it". It's an extremely frustratingly effective way of having your cake and eating it too and I wish more people saw through the bullshit
Nail on the head

They all do this, the nerd sphere, the commentary community, the groypers, Dick Masterson, Brittany Venti, Anthony Cumia, the list goes on. They tell everyone who they really are through "satire".

And it's so fucking obvious, most of these people should be on a list lol.

Notes from the last fat stream:

- Matsuri guests are Nick and Crtiical Drinker he has a few more slots to fill.

Good luck. I thought this convention was supposed to bring in the ComicsGate, Fandom Menace, and parallel economy creatives?

- His Nashville meeting on the 16th of September is probably going to be at The Whiskey Shot. His 'person' is working on it to confirm.

How much you bet this is a fan? Buzzion corrected him on the name, so I think he might be the 'person' doing the legwork.

He told Chef_Adam (a gay chef in Houston with a new Coast Guard beau that he has been angsting over leaving on orders soon) to give him a call. He has to talk to him about a few things in 'vastly different areas.

Oral and anal sex? Develop that totally neutral parasocial relarionship, Nick.

- He blames his wife for making him late all the time. They spend time together right up until the show starts.

- Nick ranted about the haters clipping his content and creating places where people are critical of you. But he is fine with it. It would take too much time and energy to fight against it. He is not naming names becuase it doesn't really bother him.

Does Nick mean he'd take down criticism if he could? Not very lolbert of him... He is also VERY unbothered

- Friday shows are coming back. He stressed this. He has to get to the right place to do them, mentally.

I think he is realizing his audience wants more degenerate content than is healthy for his business.

- He ADMITS he crossed lines and went too far on the last Friday show.

- Becuase of how much hate he gets, he (and creators in general) has to be careful with whose critique he accepts, and that is almost no one. Changes have to be motivated by self as a content creator. The audience cannot help.

You know, with all the shit Nick has been talking about how his audience doesn't have "permission" to criticize him and how they can all just fuck off if they don't like it and how the show is centered around him and not the content etc etc...it reminds me of some sage advice from a creator I used to watch all the time. Nick might want to listen to this guy.
