This was a such a fun time and I would've preferred it stayed that way. It's funny in a car crash sort of way to watch the devolution of Nick through this thread but I have watched many hours of content that I found extremely engaging (Yes at 1.5 speed but so what) and some of it very funny in a way that this thread isn't (sorry guys). It's more a morbid fascination that keeps me around now. I was never out there to dislike the man, and I could deal with some of his outrageous arguments or opinions easily.

I think Nick still feels like detractors are people who are out to dislike him. I wager this is mostly untrue. Most people are just looking to be entertained by someone who is providing a fun time. If you stop providing the fun time and start complaining, then you will disappoint some people. Some of those people may like the gossip side of things and start making fun of you or just literal gossiping. Nick is bothered by literal gossip like a high school girl. It's not like his decline is so quick and drastic that it's immediately interesting to the outsider.

I stopped watching Achievement Hunter stuff for getting unbearable at the time I found Nick right at the early days of the original lolsuit and have since followed the decline of RT on kiwifarms. The same as I switched to MATI streams earlier this year. I never wanted RT to not be fun and I never wanted Nick to not be fun. But that's what happened. As long as he doesn't get that through his skull he won't be able to reinvent himself (again) as an entertainer. Never apologize, never explain, but also don't blame the fans, just try being an entertainer and not just a personality.
