He claims he "held the line"! Barack Obama did not hold the line on shit. Putin got everything he wanted when he invaded Crimea, and the international community let him have it, America included. The "sanctions" they put on Russia did fuck and all. They didn't even prevent Russia from invading Ukraine a few years later. The international community didn't do a damn thing to stop the War on Donbass, or hold Russia accountable for sending troops, disguised as mercenaries, to aid the separatists. It was the West's collective lack of balls that allowed this most recent invasion to happen and made it a sure thing.

Tor won't let me load the 10min video & archiving isn't working, but Prigozhin is definitely pushing his luck, while straight up accusing Shoigu & his frens of some pretty heavy shit. While definitely nothing unusual about any of that in Russia, it's something people don't talk about unless they've got a death wish, ideological motivations, a private army, and/or help from the West.

Although at this point it wouldn't surprise me if Prigozhin turned into a CIA (et al.) asset, or has been one all along. He strikes me as the kind of true & honest criminal who'd flip instantly if it meant his neck.

Hmm... Prigozhin apparently just declared war on the Russian MoD. He's been all bark no bite so far, kind of doubt he'll do anything for real. This apparently follows a missile strike on a Wagner camp which Prigozhin believes originated from the Russian Army.

He basically said that Ukrainian identity only formed after 2014. That would be a real gut punch if (a) I were Ukrainian, and (b) I gave a shit what this worthless half-breed says.

And Obama still gets to beam at the Nobel Peace Prize on his mantel every day.

Fuck, I forgot all about it, holy shit. Nobel Peace Prize, right! This ended up being a lesson on why appeasement doesn't work, as if we needed another one.
Eurofags thought that Hitler would be content with just taking Poland at some point, that worked out great.
Convenient short term solution for the sake of avoiding confrontation ended up becoming a bigger issue long term, who woulda thunk.

Regarding Prigozhin, if he's not simply out of his mind, I think he might be shooting for a position in Kremlin, perhaps to replace Shoigu himself. I don't see how that would work.
But there has to be a practical reason for everything he's doing. I wouldn't want any of these people in power, they're all terrible for a number of reasons. This is a damn circus.

I suggest all reasonable people at work for the time being to consider that the Ukrainian Defense Ministry or the SBU, or even the damn British Intelligence Service struck at the camps of the Wagner PMC in order to provoke a conflict between the leadership of the Wagner PMC and the leadership of the Russian Ministry of Defense. And they managed to do it. This has caused an emotional reaction of the military commanders of the Wagner PMCs, which have recently come out of combat. Provocations of the British intelligence will not pass!
