I'm prepared for a lot of

but from my reading the biggest thing this confirms is Locals has a license to reproduce content of his, and they can broadly
transfer and sublicense these rights. They may be able to file DMCAs on Nick's behalf with additional agreements, but this is what's explicitly laid out. I wonder if revoking this license to Locals would violate his contract? I wonder how his stream counts are/are not effected by deleting the VODs after. Now consider the tepid, at best, relations between Nick and Locals right now. Didn't he publicly mention he might simply let the contract lapse?
They've got a dumpster fire that they're locked in to paying for. While Nick might hate what's happening, drama like this drives the fuck out of traffic. Unlike the lolcow they're chained to, these clippers get right to the good bits and directs viewers to their platform. If I'm a Locals employee and hear about him asking for us to mop up this mess, I'd have half a mind to unilaterally license clip channels to make them official. Best case scenario he recognizes the shot across the bow for what it is and course corrects. "Worst" case, you keep status quo, but stir up enough attention/drama you
might just squeeze a positive ROI out of this boondoggle, and Rackets has zero delusions about Locals ever wanting to deal with his bullshit again.
