If the "fight" Rekieta was teasing on his stream turns out to be going full DSP mode and trying to flag down detractors I won't stop laughing.

Rekieta has long held a position that he allows people to clip his content. At least in my recollection any time he has asked people to take stuff down it has mostly been out of respect for third parties and not him. Even with the Mandy thing that in principle may have been for Mandy's benefit and not the Rekietas.

Elissa often clips out longer videos, which will tend to go against her in terms of whether her clips are fair use. On the other hand, as far as I am aware her clips are not actually entire Locals streams, but rather extended clips where Rekieta addresses things related to his personal life, his lawsuit with Monty, and the future of his content. In other words: content related to detractor narratives. She also added in the "Lolcows" parody logo which gives the impression that the point of the clips is mockery or parody.

I think at the end of the day all of the clip channels are relying on Rekieta's grace. If Nick decides to flag every video on a clip channel, YouTube will almost certainly strike enough of them to bring down the channel.

I will say that what he is talking about there sounds more theoretical than anything. It seems to be more seethe-derived wishcasting where Rekieta muses about how great it would be if he could convince Locals to take the blame for doing something he'd like to do anyway rather than foreshadowing imminent action.

The highlight for me is around 4:10 where he uses the classic "INTEFERE" word in connection with... commenting on or clipping people's content.
