That’s more or less what Null told Tom when they streamed together. Making a living off of YouTube is a retarded idea because you have no job security, especially so if you are someone like TT who covers controversial subjects. Hard disagree. Turkey Tom, as others have hinted, is trying to play an impersonal reporter on lolcows and, more recently, internet drama. It's getting him attention from more "normie" people and is helping his revenue it seems. Hell, in a recent Tom Dark vid, he mentioned looking into ways to finance/invest money to make more with what he has (he assumes this revenue will not last forever). He's all about the hustle and "doesn't care" about LGBT drama he says. All about the money and reach I imagine.

At his core, he's still a terminally online kid with hot-takes, but keeps them on the DL. Is he a sellout? Absolutely. However, I don't think he's a true believer woke-tard/tranny at all.

Something to keep in mind with Tom is that he's, what, early 20s? A modern 20 year old is like a 15-16 year old in any other time period, personally I think given his position and age that he does reasonably well handling himself, and he has time to grow out of some of the quirks.

I've seen a fair number of people be very critical of the guy, but the points of contention always seem really petty. To even call him a sellout, like how? Because he produces videos a semi-casual viewerbase could consume and that won't offend advertisers?
Given the scope of youtube, and the kind of god awful trend chasing garbage that permeates the platform from soulless goons who would sell their own kids into a whore house if it meant money and clout, I have no idea how anyone can call what Tom does being a sellout.

I guess he somewhat considers the economic implications of the things he does, but if that makes someone a sellout then in society you're either a sellout or a bum, those are the only two options.

I've said before in this thread that I'm not sure how he'd handle transitioning into a less online life because he is so terminally online, a lot of time it's advancing age and declining popularity that's what causes people to crack, but for the time being he at least seems better adjusted than the majority of people his age online.

A new video of his popped up the other day. I decided to watch it to see what it was, and he's having a massive crying, bawwwwwing meltdown over copyrights in his video, and he's being picked on and singled out, and all kinds of weird shit. Apparently he's got a raging boner for Balto and it's so unfair everyone else can make a Balto video but him.

Also he's got a lisp now that I don't remember him having before.

After all that, his Balto video gets uploaded the next day like nothing happened. I don't care to watch it. I don't know much about this guy, but he sounds like he's in at least his mid 30s and could use to maybe go outside once in a while or something.

Saberspark always just gave me bad vibes. Anybody that unabashedly admits to being sexually or emotionally attracted to cartoon characters should not be trusted. Of course, Ryan has plenty of videos up speaking out against the 'haters', and explaining why cute lil Cujo is actually just expressing love in his own unique and special way, and that they can tell the difference between his loving 'purring', and the growling of a dog that is about to rip your bloody face off, which comes off as little more than rambling. Well, except for one little detail, which he seems to be emphasizing as if he thinks it helps his case; he's had this dog since it was 13 days old. That means all of this insane, aggressive behaviour started and was fostered completely by Ryan's care. This dog wasn't some dog rescued after years in a dog-fighting ring. Ryan and his training was the main contributing factor that this dog is the way it is. Why he thinks this is such a 'gotcha' to the haters is beyond me.

Phew, got a bit MATI for a minute there. But situations of children being in danger and potential animal abuse really hits a nerve in me. If it was just them and their hellhound, that would be one thing (though I'd still be suspicious about what was going on behind the scenes to get the dog to behave like that, but they've got toddlers in their household. If I wasn't such a lazy fuck, I'd do more research and make a proper thread on these people. If there's already one on here that I missed, please direct me to it.

from what i've seen either it's 40 year olds reminiscing on their childhoods and giving anecdotes about some malls they liked or zoomer leftists going to see "the ruins of capitalism" and hold up these things as proof of the system's inherent decay or whatever

The worst ones are the people that bitch about how those spaces are now unused and blame the disuse as greed because it wasn't converted into a homeless shelter or low-income housing, never mind the logistics and viability of using places designed mostly for department stores as permanent living spaces. It's a shame, because you can sometimes find some rather well preserved storefronts during urban exploration and the idea of seeing what has become of abandoned places is always intriguing.
