Google on mobile is "recommending" weird shit, but it at least showed me a very good example of why modern journalism sucks ass: No one proofreads their shit anymore because I guess proofreading ESL writers is racist or something.

The financial losses of nearly $1 billion were encountered during the release of the following movies: "Lightyear," "Thor: Love and Thunder," "Strange World," "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever," "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania," "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3," "The Little Mermaid," and "Elemental." According to Valliant Renegade, the eight movies cost $2.75 billion, but only brought in $1.86 billion for Disney, totaling a loss of $890 million.
LOL, "diversity is our strength". Ofc they'll double down instead of pivoting towards the other direction, and thus, towards financial solvency. It's like watching a slow-motion trainwreck, lol.

And methinks they tallied up the totals instead of talking about individuals that make it even clearer what the REAL stinkers have in common.
nope, they don't name individuals, but they do talk about why they bombed:
Recent Disney movies have embraced "woke" storylines. "Strange World" featured a gay romance. The animated children's "Lightyear" has a lesbian kiss in it. "Elemental" talks about the evils of xenophobia, and boasts the entertainment company's first non-binary character.

To be fair, it's an uke site and the article is machine-translated from the original chub. They can't exactly afford to hire a native speaker to proofread, there's a different "press" to worry about.
Do you think a human wrote that title?
A chub wrote that title and DeepL translated it. Neither is human, but the mistake is on DeepL.

That's my only surprise. I would expect it to at least break even.
Marvel fatigue and by extension superhero fatigue is real. Add to certain groups having other issues with Disney there's a lot of people not seeing the Marvel stuff at the moment. Oh and there's also the slow economic collapse, when a trip to the cinema to see something out on Disney Plus in a month or so represents an actual night out, food and all, people will often choose that instead.

And So the Grip Tightens...
Namor has gone back to marvel
Only Sony & Spiderman left
Which i think goal is sub switch Spiderman with Milles because he not in the contract because he part of ultimate universe
Until they get Spiderman license back (alla Xmen & Mutants)
