Court documents dropped courtesy of the Brothermen. Their payment plan got rejected because those stupid fucks just refused to pay and did not respond to inquiries. I can’t archive at this exact moment (mobile fag problems) but will do so later.

Maybe he thinks the SFWA is footing the bill for this and so Technicality Thompson doesn’t personally owe any money for this lawsuit.
Except the SFWA would have cut a check to Quasi’s lawyer at this point and there wouldn’t be a debt repayment plan that just got ignored and turned into a much worse “lose everything“ plan.
Patrick is a pro tier lolcow. Lesser cows would have backed off by now and worked out a repayment plan, changed their phone number, set themselves to private and really wrecked up the laughs. Thank goodness Patrick has done none of that and is going to give us many new surprises as the court case rolls along.

Pat being a novelist in current day is akin to being on an Amazon Bestseller list page where all the five star made accounts are just bots that he hires from a web marketing team to make it appear that he still writes good literature.
Though, the good one to two star reviews are legit, but Pat would be the type to hash out long emails asking their services to ban their accounts for "questionable posting history".

i don't pay attention to awards of any kind, in any field, but there's been a kerfluffle on twitter over the last day or two concerning the author John Scalzi (never heard of him), whom several of my acquaintances consider to be a hack. cherry picking passages to make someone look like a bumbling fool is easy, but i have to say the subject matter has been pretty funny to me.
the Locus Award is, apparently, decided more by a nebulous audience than it is any vested interest.
so why the hell am i bringing this up in the Patrick S. Tomlinson thread?
well, seeing this unfold got me thinking. if this is what passes for literary genius in our current society... is Patrick S. Tomlinson really the wealthy and popular author he exhaustively insists to be? where are his awards? why isn't he getting all the fame and attention? where are his 8800 ratings?
edit: oh, also, Scalzi name searches himself according to more than a few people. with any luck, he may inadvertently enter the Fattiverse (the Fatsphere, if you will).

And Scalzi got his out on Tor. He's a hack although I think he's better than Pat simply because he actually writes books and then has them published. Also he probably writes at least a second draft.
