I keep calling people "queer" as an insult and it works wonders, except I don't get banned for it because it's not in the no-no list.

It can be considered offensive if you think transpeople become trans just "for sexual perversion".

Cis means Normal. There are no "trans" states of normal, trans is abnormal, a psychiatric issue, a paraphilic disorder, or just narcissism. Regardless, using cis creates a false equivalence, which is what the deviants want.
Heterosexuality and "being born in the correct body" are NORMAL. What falls outside of NORMAL is an abnormality.

That meme is also attempting to parasitize upon established language dating thousands of years ago, as if ancient Latins used cis regarding gender, or even used gender at all. Well referring to a non-trans person as "real" or "normal" might imply a trans-person is "abnormal". Outside of the kiwifarms/twatter/mumsnet communities in actual real-life that may seem as somewhat offensive.

Similar reason why we have words like neurotypical. If we said "normal" if we needed to clarify that a given person wasn't autistic that might seem offensive to people with autism for example.
