I mean, I’m not in gym wear on social media and I never would be even when I was super fit in my younger days…Said she got no RL approaches from Men
But yes, approaches from men. Most women I know never did get hit on a lot. The power balance from my youth was very much different. Women wanted to look good, for other women and for men, and men seemed (at least when we were young) to be fairly timid about asking girls out. The young guys I knew were all quite shy like that even if they were outgoing on other ways. I feel like the whole perception of how men are ‘presented to women’ has changed. By that I mean how women are encouraged to see men. Now it seems to be that all men are utter arseholes to be exploited, or they’re all the Andrew tate type. And I think the reverse is true as well. Women as a concept are presented to men as something they’re both entitled to and simultaneously told they can’t have. The online stuff is all ‘women all whores, you deserve this strange non existent trad wife but in the mean time keep jacking off to this violent porn and subscribe to only fans.’ It’s so contradictory and so confusing.
I’m not talking about the outliers - there’s always been deadbeat and violent men like there’s always been awful women. But they used to be seen as something to avoid not to emulate
It’s just more social engineering isn’t it?
