It probably is MRSA. But there's no way her PR people are ever going to admit that. Dried up old grannies catch MRSA as they cycle in and out of hospitals for a few years before they drop. Not dewy Madonna who has an absurd MILF illusion to maintain.
 
The amount of deathpool like bets on “RIP Madonna when?” that I’ve seen both online and offline on social media is both funny and odd at the same time. There’s more people surprised that Madonna is at of old age and wondering how she’d get bacterial infections on an already plasticized face that can not be injected enough.

If it bacteria + gym, isn't the usual thing staph? That'll make her the super hard work out and unkillable (if she makes it) grandma.

I really don't think it's related to drugs and alcohol, and unless I've been missing out on some news updates over the past years, Madonna hasn't been a drug user and she barely drank as far as I'm aware. People like her get their high from looking good, she was always far too focused on her intense workouts and healthy lifestyle (similar to J.Lo in that way) to indulge in drugs and booze, unless she's got addicted to some pain pills after her recent plastic surgery but I doubt it.

If it is in fact bacterial infection she's suffering from I'd suspect it being sepsis. Some press is reporting she's been released from the hospital, but I'd take all the information provided by her management with a grain of salt as most likely all they are doing is damage control. I'm surprised there isnt any other info out there. Kinda gives Jamie Foxx situation. It seems weird she'd be in ICU one day and going home the next, but I do realize she can afford to have a team of nurses and doctors at her own home if necessary.

A pain pill dependency wouldn't surprise me. She works out hard, she's always done demanding dance routines for her videos and live appearances, and she's still intending to do full-blown tours at age 64. She had to cancel some shows a few years ago due to pain issues, and, IIRC, had a hip replacement not long after.

So it wouldn't surprise me if, after decades of performing through injuries piled on top of injuries (as is typical of dancers and other athletes, most of whom do not have careers that extend into their 60s), she's needed some totally legit, doctor-prescribed chemical assistance to manage the pain. And I'm not being sarcastic about that at all—frankly, I'd be shocked if she hadn't been getting into the good shit.

If the doctor-prescribed good shit isn't enough, or she's having a hard time getting a Dr. Feelgood to prescribe her more, she'd have zero problem scoring it without a doctor's assistance. That includes shit like fentanyl. It also includes pharmaceuticals that appear legit, but contain potentially lethal doses of fentanyl—which is a growing problem.

So a drug overdose is not improbable, even if she's never been a recreational illicit drug user (which I doubt she's been; she's too much of a control freak).

Or, yeah, she could legitimately have developed an infection that went septic; that's always a risk when you're constantly having elective cosmetic surgeries and lots of foreign substances injected or implanted into you in the futile hope you can fend off aging. So I don't find the basic PR story all that improbable; if it sounds hinky it's because of all the juicy details you know they've left out.
 
So there are some rumours circulating that allegedly she was planning to reverse some of her facial plastic surgery before the shows as she's become aware she looked like a freak after being mocked by the internet. I've seen people mentioning that she was beginning to look more normal in her recent social media posts. Her surgery reversal definitely wouldn't take place 10 days before the tour opening but perhaps she's had it done a month or so ago and suffered complications.

I obviously don't know how much of it is true. I had a look at her Instagram and she posted a video on Jun 5th, even though it's clearly heavily filtered you can still see she can't move her face or open her mouth properly, her jaw/face doesn't move.

Also in that photo from few weeks/days ago she looked really bad. The photo seems to be edited to sharpen/saturate etc. maybe to make it .ore clear and that would make anyone look bad but if you look at people sitting next to her yeah they look bad but nowhere near as bad as her.. Also how many filters is she using? she looks younger than in 2002.

If I recall correctly, that’s how Tom Petty died and he was nowhere near as active as Madonna is during his concerts. Shit just wears down on people no matter how healthy and active you were during your younger years.

Reports confirming she was revived with Narcan. Of course Guy is trying to push back saying that the narcan was used for septic shock, which is bullshit. There are some indications narcan could help with septic shock but no one knew she was septic till she was at the hospital and even then it's not any standard clinical use, just something Guy probably dug up in his five alarm emergency to try and combat the obvious implications of this leaking.
(I can see him screaming to his poor assistant, "google other plausible uses for narcan yesterday or I will lose my cut on her $30 mil in concert contracts". Does explain the weird septic shock story and further leaks about her "month long fever")

Lots of stars are addicted to plastic surgery AND all the good drugs that they get with them. (See Michael Jackson, et al.) Doctors to big celebrities have to be extremely generous with the narcotics or their patient will go elsewhere. Might explain why the work she has gotten is so bad. A bad doctor with a generous Rx pad will win over a good doctor with a conservative script pad every time.
The pain pills go a long way to explain her bizarre behavior the last few years.

Either drugs or early onset dementia were the only explanations given the damage it was doing to her brand.

All the references about the use of Naloxone (Narcan) in septic shock are in the 1980s. Even Pfizer says that it does not improve survival.

No insurance company will insure Madonna's big concert tour in the wake of an OD. They will get all the real medical deets and require rehab/ on-tour drug tests/supervision which would make Madge very cranky. The grueling tour won't be much fun without unlimited narcotics and pills. No one has seen Madonna since her "septic shock" so they might already have her in some sort of "rehab" to soothe the insurance companies and start the rehab clock, even if it's just hiring a bunch of rehab "professionals" to stay with her in her NYC penthouse.

Madge would be in deep shit if she can't get coverage for her big tour. Probably having Guy find her her own Dr. Conrad Murray for the tour. Finding a doctor to legitimize the drugs and "supervise" their use tends to be a work around if she has no interest in "getting sober". Given her age and the dance routines she's probably attempting I don't see her wanting to do that for months without drugs.

Madonna is probably furious this leaked. She paid piles of money over the decades to burnish her image as a "no drug" "physical fitness nut" ultimate perfectionist professional and now that's all fucked up. It was a very important part of the image she sold. Then again she's done so much absolutely cringe and horrible shit online to ruin her image in the past five years she's tanked all those years of careful PR. It's now obvious she was making an ass off herself on IG due to drug induced poor decision making.
