Patrick Sean Tomlinson / @stealthygeek / "Torque Wheeler" / @RealAutomanic / Kempesh / Padawan v2.5 - "Conservative" sci-fi author with TDS, armed "drunk with anger management issues" and terminated parental rights, actual tough guy, obese, paid Quasi, paid thousands to be repeatedly unbanned from Twitter

They began tormenting Tomlinson and his wife after Tomlinson posted a tweet in 2018 saying he didn’t find the comedian Norm Macdonald funny. What should have been a benign tweet got sucked up into online forums where far-right extremist trolls congregate. They fixated on Tomlinson, and he became the target of relentless abuse.

Ok, if people shouldn't use one of Fatrick tweets to start shitting on him then why should Fatrick need to engage with every single troll message he get's? Because that's how it started. Fatrick did something, then people reacted, then Fatrick reacted, people reacted, yadda yadda yadda and the more back and forth happens the more it escalates. Just don't react to people shitting on you.

But yeah, Fatrick should be allowed to say everything he wants while noone should be allowed to respond to his shit. Like this whore and fake journo should be allowed to dox and slander everyone and everything she wants but noone should be allowed to respond to her shit.

I fucking hate these people. They are fucking evil. Rules for thee but not for me.

He said stalkers have stolen his personal information and impersonated him in an effort to destroy his credit scor
Now he can lie about his lack of employment since the WaPo is an authoritarian source. He might even get a Wikipedia article soon

Tomlinson, like many victims, filed a lawsuit against the owners of a forum he accused of driving harassment toward him, but he lost and now owes tens of thousands of dollars in legal fees.
Notice they ignore his refusal to pay that made his money owed much worst

And they should not be making rulings that are going to be setting precedent about how the internet will be regulated and policies for decades.
They made the eight choice, Fat. Most people don't engage with the trolls they supposedly can't stand

“It’s not an option to just not exist online,”
Yeah it is. Or at least not attach your name to a profile

It really isn't when the only reason you do anything is to BECOME FAMOUS. If he had any passion and an ego that isn't as fat as he is he could be churning out schlock niche books under an alias and not constantly getting into fights. I know he could never be a good writer but if he took a step back that would help tons. He can't take any steps in any direction though because he's too fat and runs out of breath just breathing.

the 21st century is full of people who have high-ish profile careers and whose names exist online yet have never been the subject of controversy, because they're SMART. they keep their fucking mouths shut on their professional social media (or stay off it) and keep their antisocial and/or socially unacceptable habits and beliefs carefully separate from their real identities.

it's harder than it used to be... but not actually that hard. retards like patrick bleating "but i NEED to act like an idiot on twitter for my WRITING CAREER" is just another example of an obvious lie that the mass media accepts and propagates because it serves their agenda of witchhunting dissent. "it's my fundamental human right to be a exhibitionistic bullying narcissistic prick and it's nazi hate speech if anyone criticizes me! WHY won't the supreme court make it illegal??? ...i mean it's not like this kind of law could ever be used against me... "

Yet John Scalzi, who is almost as much of a hack as Pat and has political views that are almost as retarded as Pat's, has an online presence, lots of followers and a decent career. He doesn't spend all his time arguing with his detractors on Twitter, though no doubt he has some.

The article makes it sound like the Pests and the trolls choose people at random. That's often the lolcow cry, "they hate me just for existing." But 7 billion other people exist. They don't have Kiwifarms threads, or entire forums dedicated to making fun of them.

But I'm sure the Pests chose Pat to make fun of at random and it had nothing to do with anything outrageous Pat did. Pat's on The Right Side of History after all, members of the cult are infallible and nothing is their fault.

“It’s not an option to just not exist online,”

TotalBiscuit used to say this shit on his podcast before he was dragged to 30 FPS hell by the big C.

MY NIGGER IN CHRIST, even if you run an online business you "have" to use Twitter or whatever social network to advertise or make announcements, nothing says you have to interact with the fanbase. There are tools that will literally allow you to cross post to multiple platforms and you never have to actually interact with them!

THERE IS NO CONSTITUTIONALLY PROTECTED RIGHT TO NOT BE CALLED A FAGGOT ON THE INTERNET!

Also, calling you mean names doesn't automatically make someone responsible for your swatting. I hope the people responsible for that are put against a wall.

The mongoloids who read WaPo are seething on Porky's behalf.

I used to subscribe to WaPo just to shitpost in the comments. Their humorless butthurt radicalized me more than Trump or Tucker or 4chan ever could have. I thoroughly enjoy the suffering and agony of those dipshits.

It's even tastier knowing that their takes are completely divorced from reality, because we've been following it longer than them.

It's too bad we're off the clearnet. They'd see his thread if they google him. Guess it's the Pests' time to shine.

Man, reading that article and the comments serves as a good reminder that these people are actually insane... they literally believe the internet and real life are the same thing, while proclaiming that the Supreme Court is out of touch with reality! The internet has severly damaged these peoples already fucked up brains.

Awww, poor babyman. He wouldn't be in this position if he ...

a) Wasn't such an insufferable sack of shit
b) Didn't engage with the Atalkers because by doing so they figured out they could get an easy rise from him
c) Paid Quasi already
d) Stopped being so fat

But he didn't and wouldn't do any of those things, so now he's in the mess he's made for himself. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

This is Pat's version of the trolley problem: if he admits to the debt, he produces evidence against himself and fuel for the pests/us; however, if he denies it, he cannot reap the benefits of being a victim of cyberstalking for pity points and those sweet but ephemeral internet asspats. Patrick's genius, however, sees an easy solution to this quandary:

No amount of tactical maneuvers, however, will change the fact that he has a Crisco plant's worth of fat hanging from his chin.

Okay, I'm SCOTUS pilled.
SCOTUS is literally telling me it's okay to alog patrick tomlinson.
Eurokeks, are you even trying?
People love the Supreme Court until the ratio gets flipped out of their favor. They lost on this one even worse than that with a 7-2 since that means at least half of the liberal supreme court thought this was retarded.

Has anyone actually looked up what this guy said? These faggots are acting like they just made swatting legal. What did this dude actually do?

WaPo readers cannot process it. It doesn't fit the narrative.

Reading their comments is watching NPCs malfunction. Countervailing facts makes them start sparking and smoking in confusion.

LOL I like how this article doesn't even introduce Fatrick at all. As if random people are just supposed to know who Patrick Tomlinson is, like they know who Stephen King is. Maybe an accurate summary of Fatrick would have been too harsh.

Experts worry that a decision giving First Amendment protection to online abuse will make a growing problem worse

LOS ANGELES — On Tuesday, just minutes after the Supreme Court reversed the conviction of a man who’d made relentless online threats to a stranger, ruling that the threats were protected by the First Amendment, Patrick Tomlinson began receiving harassing text messages.

Compared to people with a actual jobs:

“The majority of the court simply can’t even imagine what stalking is like,” said Mary Anne Franks, a professor of law at the University of Miami, who filed an amicus brief on behalf of the victim in the Supreme Court case. “They have no idea about the terror these victims are living in.”

Lenora Claire, a TV producer and founding member of the Los Angeles District Attorney Crime Victims Advisory Board, and herself a victim of stalking, said she fears the court’s ruling will make people less willing to confront their harassers.
“This is a crime which is not taken seriously as it is,” she said.

That combined with the mention of his failed lawsuit make me lean towards subtle trolling of Fatrick, whose blood pressure is certainly rising at this very moment.
