Rather than take up space in the general "Groyper" thread, it seemed fitting to make a more extensive post with some of the faces we remember from the peak of Nick's coherence, mental stability, momentum and personal obscurity. It puts into perspective just how badly he has fumbled the bag and pushed away people who were willing to go to bat for him at one point in time. I think a sizable portion of the readers in this lolcow backwater were gullible enough to think that something serious was going on, at least until 2020 or so, so this is not to call anyone stupid for siding with Nick, but to keep a record of how lamely one man played his cards.
I'll be picking out two kinds of people to follow up on. You can add more to the thread that I missed or that have interesting falling-out stories.
There's a few people that would be good to track down if possible that have not appeared at all in Nick's circles since late 2019. Some of them went to the leadership summit which according to hearsay was a sobering moment for some of the attendees who abandoned Nick after realizing he was a spaz. I couldn't find anything recent on the following people, and would appreciate some help in getting info.

- People who supported Nick, some of whom tanked their careers as a result
- Guys who asked questions that later became a part of Nick's crew (or at least went to the leadership summit in 2019)

(L'Jarius Sneed: Positive Telegram interactions as recent as January 2023). |
