I don't know if this has been broached before but is it possible that Nick's downfall is because he got on Locals and after that point he started streaming almost every aspect of his life and no longer had a personal life? I would think sitting at a PC while hopped up on medication to manage his attention span and arousal during a trial while also occasionally being hung over from milking oneself for cash all night would do more exponentially more damage than being on Locals regularly. Rekieta (obviously) wanted to move on from this, and the Rackets brand of pre-emptive gloating about the inevitable ISWV victory, for the first time ever so slightly began to chafe for his old fanbase that wore it.

Nick landed on his feet after Weeb Wars not only completely unscathed, but right at the ground floor of anti-woke commentary on the Depp trial, which brought in an influx of BPD wine moms obsessed with their husbando #JusticeForJohnny. It gave Nick the slightest taste of mainstream relevance for the first time, as opposed to his career up until that point of covering online subcultural lolcows like Maddox, Lowtax, Richard C. Meyer and #KickVic. He started getting calls from the likes of Glenn Beck. It was like a whole new world started opening up to him. After all, there is nearly infinite more people who give a fuck about Johnny Depp or Kyle Rittenhouse than the guy that voiced Broly from DBZ 15 years ago, and they were all his for the taking. This was probably his biggest misstep imo, even worse than setting Vic up with Ty Beard.

The Vic trial, never meaningfully addressed, was dragged back up and not allowed to be ignored. His drunkstream antics and libertine philosophy were taken at face value and treated as fodder for people to shit on him with and no longer just edgy entertainment from their based internet lawyer friend. Defending Nick became an increasingly thankless chore on behalf of someone who was clearly seeking to move on from them anyway. Nick of course did himself no favors for the increasingly silent people wanting to defend him by giving his haters new material every week, as well as clearly favoring the company of his slatternly Locals community over his legacy cesspool free speech weeb discord that increasingly felt a sense of ownership over him.

But it was the balldo that broke the camel's back.

It became easier for people to laugh at Nick than laugh with him. Nobody wanted to be the guy that sweeps it up for someone who proudly stuffs his balls in a pink cuck cage.

His image as a legal authority that he built a channel off of and hundreds of thousands of GFM bucks were called into question, and found wanting. Cursory looking into his activities, which could have happened at any time in the past, led to things like "Cuck Week at Hedonism II". People starting realizing that Camelot guy he hangs out with is in fact a cringeworthy loser.

I don't really see where Nick can turn things around here. He can't go back to Weeb Wars even if he wanted to. It's dead. He doesn't want to go back into the goldfish bowl that is niche lolcow legal affairs at this point, and even if he was he'd have to rebuild his audience in da sektor from scratch with a now far more hostile audience. Hacking it as a serious commentator on hot button law topics seems like more work then he's ready to give. Nowadays what seems to interest him is being a generic online internet personality. But that's a tough job for anyone, especially for someone with as big a target on his public persona as Nick has these days.

Didn't this happen before Rittenhouse?
