In my experience, women and queers have a very unusually difficult time understanding platonic friendship. I don't want to say it's all women, but almost every single one I've known can't seem to understand the idea of friendship and bonding (especially male bonding) without them also buttfucking and spooning for some bizarre reason.

Before there were labels for this shit, there were these young women I encountered who 1) had poor boundaries in friendships, 2) had very few real friends and 3) very desperately wanted friends.
As much as I hate labels, this label seems to describe them and their needs well. Rather sexless, but would always want to bogart your time and thoughts in a way that only an intimate partner should. Totally the type to then go post on Reddit about how all of their "friends" are having boyfriends or babies and how they're ruining their lives for doing that.

I think the reason for this is that around the time girls hit high school things get super competitive for girls. Girls begin to establish a pecking order as well as sabotaging each other in a bid to make themselves the alpha female in order to get the attention of the boys who are in the top 10%. Because of this very few girls in the high school age rage have a lot female friends if at all. They don't understand how someone of the same sex could be friends as they never had a friend of the same sex. This is also the age where girls also begin to grow an interest in things like yaoi and since these girls also never really interacted with boys they get all their understanding of males and male relationships from yaoi. It is sad if you think about it. Many girls get all their understanding of men from yaoi porn much like how many men get their understanding of women from lesbian porn. We live in a very porn sick world.

Oh boy, thanks for reminding me that I wanted to introduce you guys to the insanity that is Pizza Tower's most popular AU, Sugary Spire.
If anyone here was around during the insanity that was the Undertale AU era, Sugar Spire is basically Pizza Tower's own Underswap, where the main gimmick is that Peppino and The Noise switch roles/jobs/personalities. The Noise, who now takes on the role of the protagonist running a cooking-related business, is called Pizzelle; whilst Peppino, now Pizzelle's rival, becomes a Wario-esque actor named Pizzano.
Unlike most Undertale AUs, the novelty here is that Sugar Spire has a game that started development also in 2018, just a bit after Pizza Tower started releasing its own playable builds/demos. On paper, there is no problem with this... until one realize that this AU started on Tumblr (original post here, Mucho Texto warning).
I could go into depth about how this game's development was a clusterfuck from the very beginning (the game was cancelled at one point because of drama within the team and a lot of the original people working on it had to leave), but I'm not interested in that. I could also got into the "old lore", which was extremely edgy and does not match Pizza Tower whatsoever (post about it here + archive), but I will not either.
Once again, this AU started on Tumblr and, when you have a twink-looking guy in a pastel-colored world, Tumblr does its thing.
Because this game has a discord server full of Tumblrites and Twitterinas in it, Pizzelle, Swap!Noise, was confirmed "transfem" and "lesbian" a few months ago. This information is not relevant in the game whatsoever, and it was basically pushed by "fans" of the game. There is also the fact that this Swap!Noisette, Rosette, is "headcanoned" as coming from Puerto Rico, and is NOT in a relationship with Pizzelle.
If you're expecting any resemblance of the source material, it is only in name, for none of the characters featured in this AU share any similarities with their canonical counterparts. Not to mention, the fanart.
Pizzelle is a white recolor of The Noise with tits, Rosette is Noisette if you made her black and fat, and Pizzano is Peppino after going through a lobotomy. And these are some of the "tamer" examples I remember saving for this post, there's worse stuff out there.
Anyways, I am going to do the devs a huge favor and promote their game by attaching the leaked P-Rank Build to this post.

The thing is, even if Musk keeps breaking Twitter, the huge majority of people that use the bird app don't have any real alternative. There's no major social media, aside from tumblr, that makes microblogging as easy as twitter does, so my best guess is that they'll either wait for things to calm down or jump ship to Tumblr.
It kind of boggles my mind that a game like Pizza Tower managed to get AUs made out of it. Sounds like fanfiction with extra steps.

Banning public profile viewing is stupid, because that's really how most people even get onto twitter. No idea if Musk will keep that or it'll remain permanent, but either way, it's a retarded decision, especially if you're there to take screenshots.
Regarding tumblr: tumblr only recently allowed artistic NSFW, so nudes mostly, but you still can't post porn (some people find workarounds and porn bots are still there but you get the drift), so a ton of NSFW artists are going to either stay on Twitter to get their money or wait until a new platform arrives.
