The idea of having an episode that feels like it was actually recorded in 2008 is a good idea, considering how much the newer videos suck cock. I kinda liked it, it gave off the same vibe as the old ones. Don't know why they had to add that obnoxious stuttering effect though, as the source material they based it off sure as fuck didn't have that

It's meh. It's one of the more tolerable episodes in a long time, but it's also very forgettable.
Since the movie, and end of Monster Madness, he's put out maybe 1 or 2 tolerable eps of any series a year. It's such faint praise to say this clip show is one of the better ones in awhile. In fact, I thought at first he just reuploaded the KOTCS one and almost skipped it entirely heh. He's just that lazy enough to try and pull that too.

New AVGN:

I didn't watch it. I just gave a thumbs down and moved on. The view count is not terribly encouraging.
Isn't giving a video thumbs down a good thing in Youtube's eyes as it improves a Video's engagement? It would be better to just not click the video altogether.

DIslikes no longer exist in the youtube API anymore, it's just front-end shit that's meaningless.
Unless if you have an ad on extension where you can enable dislikes.

I;d imagine that Youtube still knows the dislike clicks, even though that addon collects and (sells your dislikes to profit). It's still there, and acts as an 'interaction'. Google employs a ton of psychoanalysts marketing people that know to very tuned formulas what negative reactions pay for their ad sponsors vs the positives and comments and views.

It's obvious that Google will always do some assigning, greedy bullshit.

Not that the system cares, as the algorithm can have that video pop up again, which is very stupid.
Yeah, I've practically had to go to war with some channels that YouTube would just not stop recommending to me. It's double annoying when it's a channel that does something stupid, I unsub, and then they just won't let the channel go. And even if they stop recommending the main channel, I'll get their side channels, fan channels, clip channels, etc. Lord knows how long it took before I finally quit seeing Linus Media Group crap popping up in my feed.

I do the same. I unsub from channels that either I have lost interest in, people virtue signal and clout chase, etc. Most of channels are complete hot garbage, yet I still subbed to some channels like RLM, EmpLemon, E;R or SynthCool as they still make quality content unlike others who are willing to sellout or to chase clout.
