I want to point out to all of you that "White" is an American invention and shouldn't be used when it comes to Europe.

This is happening to the French, if it was happening 150 south west it'd be happening to the Spanish or 150 east then it would be happening in Germany or Italy there are 1000's of years of culture and conflict between these countries that make each one have a radically different view on the world, America is homogenized it's one or two big cultures.

I truly think a lot of this is coming down to American media eroding cultural identity's and within a few decades we're going to see some massive push backs against it.

White is a euphemism for European, like Caucasian is used. Europe is composed of multiple European ethnic groups. It is true we had very bloody wars against each other. But I, a Romanian, would always side with a fellow European, white Hungarian and fight side by side with him, my "traditional enemy", if Europe was endangered by Africans or Middle Easterners or Asians.
We are also genetically related, and there is significant mixing between the tribes, most prominently in Central and East Europe, although the last decades have been catastrophic for the previously more homogenous West and North Europe.
Do not attempt to deconstruct Europeaness, Whiteness or whatever you want to call it. It's petty and transparent.
Not to mention almost all of us are now bound to each other, and what happens in France does affect me, and what Germany thinks is good social policy affects me, and how many migrants pass through Italy and Greece does affect me and so on. There is a reason we have the European Union, because people understood that there is strength in numbers, and our numbers are dwindling, while other tribes that resent us for colonialism are a growing, relentless tide. Flawed as it is, this is our continent and we don't have another.

It appears yes. There have been reports of riots/tensions in the French speaking parts of Switzerland (in a town called Lausanne) and French speaking parts of Belgium (such as Brussels).

So far it seems to only be an isolated to Francophone countries; however, countries like the UK and Germany are basically waiting for this to happen.

I'll believe that when they use live ammo and not a second before. Tear gas and batons are an attempt to pacify, not a crackdown. They're less-lethal options for a civilized populace, and that is not what you're dealing with here.

Every response I've seen from the French, including this one, indicates that they're hoping to just wait out the energy of the rioting. They have no intention of stopping them, or preventing others from occurring. The only people they are actively targeting are the few right-wingers dumb enough to organize and come out into the streets.

If these "solidarity" get-togethers don't mention the demographics of the rioters explicitly, instead of using all the familiar weasel words, then they are unserious coping parties. Watch the speeches and you'll get your answer for how long things will keep going.

Shooting someone in the leg can be a deadly shot, especially if someone gets shot in the femoral artery. As anyone with law enforcement or military training knows, if you are shooting someone, it is because they are an imminent threat and the thing that typically will stop them will also be the most deadly, which is a center mass shot.

A leg is a difficult shot, and if you wanted to play "poor criminal", a leg shot could mean being crippled for life.

I took a criminal law class in school, if someone is deemed a threat and they poke their head out, they will go for the head. But they also don't pull out their guns unless absolutely necessary.
