If I remember correctly, her defense was that she found out her husband was gay, so she had to embezzle hundreds of thousands of dollars to keep him around. I remember Nick referring to her as a victim of sorts when he talked about her on streams.Her. An embezzler who ripped off a lot of people and wrecked their livings.
Nick can no longer be controversial. This will be the response every time he tries to get into a slap fight.
I remember a picture of the Rekietas before he became a streamer and I always found it odd. In the picture, Kayla is on the floor playing with one or two of the kids, and Nick has his nose buried deep in his phone. In fact, just that mental image has helped remind me not to be on my phone around others as much. The speed and scale of his decline continues to impress me. A 6 hour Twitter slap fight would be embarrassing and reek of insecurity on a normal day, but it's 4th of July. Shouldn't he be busy with...literally anything else? Is his life really that empty that he has nothing better to do on a holiday with his family?
rekieta's issue with kf is that it is no longer a hug box for him. do you remember the ih stream with null, where nick says his kf thread went off the rails at page 1650? what was rekieta thread like before 1650? it was mostly praise and about his content. there was criticism but it was far and few between. off the top of my head i can only think of 3 criticism at rekieta prior to page 1650."That fuckin karen farms!"
Page 950, you mean? And it was not on iH stream. He was just ranting to some people on his own stream.page 1650.
I mean, he gets the shakes just doing whatever, before and during drinking. Plus, he claims restless leg syndrome or some other made up thing too.Does he get the shakes if he doesn't have his pint of whiskey in the morning/afternoon
I think this is a key thing, both individual and group talk therapy. Because most alcoholics and addicts in general (who aren't useless trust fund faggots like Nick) use in the excess that they do because of unresolved mental and emotional issues. I've known people who have gotten sober and stayed sober for many years, but were completely miserable during their sobriety and were actually more pleasant to be around once they fell back off wagon, because they got rid of their crutch but never addressed the underlying problems. AA just doesn't cut it a lot of the time (though it does offer some useful skills and advice).in conjunction with regular talk therapy
That kind of thing disturbs me a lot, especially since it's so prevalent among parents anymore. Imagine being a child with a developing brain, you look to your parent, and instead of seeing them looking back at and responding to you, you just see their face looking down into their handy-dandy Google/Apple machine. Imo, a lot of the emotional and social problems we're seeing in kids these days is partially a result of this phenomenon. In the picture, Kayla is on the floor playing with one or two of the kids, and Nick has his nose buried deep in his phone. In fact, just that mental image has helped remind me not to be on my phone around others as much.
Simple, Nick doesn't give a fuck about his children and wife and recognized (from personal experience) the faggot accusation as being the ramblings of an angry drunkard, whereas Null, despite being as diplomatic and blow-softening as possible, actually bruised Nick's personal ego by pointing out an uncomfortable truth. How does Ralph do it? How does he get away with calling Rekieta a faggot with retard children while talking massive shit about his wife, and then instantly get forgiven. Meanwhile Josh very diplomatically suggests that Rekieta should stop drinking if he's not proud of the content he's putting out, and he gets ghosted forever.
Not trying to derail the thread or cast shade.
I'm aware of Disulfiram and am thoroughly unimpressed.
I think we just have vastly different interpretations on the quality and real world efficacy of treatment options out there.
They used to do this in Vctorian England with arsenic, I believe. It had the same effect and same mixed results. Notably, many of the cases were women. And people have still died while on it because they drank anyway and the reaction wrecked their already fucked up body, like bursting esophageal varices from vomiting and then bleeding out internally. Prescribing someone something that could outright kill them if they drank, when their problem is they can't stop drinking, is pure dumbness.
I am just baffled. I personally found about him from Null and the Rittenhouse trial. Another thing. What is the benefit of assosiating with the gunt at this point? What does he get from it other than being assosiated with the infamous mexican hog?Rekieta is still going on Twitter responding to random people..
Plus Ralph, who thanked Rekieta for naming him as an influence and invited him back on the Killstream.

As bad as Nick has gotten he's still morally superior to Ethan Ralph. That's the draw. He's the one acquantaince left that Nick can still smugly stick his nose up at.I am just baffled. At least Nick feeds his kids. That's like the village slut looking down on the village whore though. "Least I don't get paid for it, bitch!"
I dunno. It's hard to say who is worse. The sanctimonious hypocrit or the unapologetic rage pig.
As far as I'm concerned that money might as well come from their grandparents. At least Nick feeds his kids.
The issue with AA was that it was always opt in therapy for Alcoholics trying to quit not a guaranteed cure for Alcoholism. When courts started demanding people attend is when it became kinda useless.I'm no expert, but my experiences have been the opposite.
Modern medicine is decent at preventing acute alcohol withdrawal and avoiding/treating DTs, but everything I've witnessed after that has been AA-style 12-step, group therapy pseudoreligion gobbledygook.
Maybe it's different at the celebrity-level California joints, but the average Joe that I've seen is mostly expected to pull up their bootstraps and find their own personal Jesus. Which is more like wishing the addiction away rather than actual treatment.
Of course, medicine is so shitty at treating every other addiction that maybe the relatively structured framework of alcoholism therapy looks S-tier in comparison.
Imagine Ethan Ralph if he was a trust-fund baby. That mf'er would've long been dead.As far as I'm concerned that money might as well come from their grandparents.
