At this point Vickers is as big a cow as Ralph is.

I cannot quote at the moment but I agree with @Procrastinhater. I really find myself hoping that Ralph dunks on Vickers. I don't think we have to root for one side or the other most of the time. It's fun to watch idiots go to war and who cares who wins.
But Vickers is such a pompous asshole who really believes he is playing 5-D chess and that he is so vastly more intelligent and respectable than Ralph that he cannot possibly lose or be made a fool of. He must win because in his mind he is a winner. So he sees nothing wrong with posting what is essentially extortion demands - show up and get served or stay away and sign your son away to Faith's latest manchild if he marries her and avoid court entirely. He just posted that shit. With seemingly no understanding that courts tend to frown on that sort of thing. He's so convinced of his own rectitude that he has no clue what a piece of shit he comes off as.
If there was a way Ralph and Vickers could be put in their respective places at the same time that would be ideal. But if that can't happen I hope Vickers looks like a complete asshole when this is over.

Vickers obviously doesn't fear Ralph, so the restraining order is spurious, he's defamed the Gunt on record multiple times (even if he later deleted it, he still posted defamatory statements) and he's abusing the court system to harrass Ralph.
If Ralph could ever hire a decent lawyer who noted all this down its likely Vickers would get all his spurious shit thrown out and be marked down as a vexatious litigant and an Acerthorne level time waster.

Because unlike Vickers, and despite his daughter bringing shame to the family, Harry actually has a life outside Ralph, he's a relatively successful and balanced human being, and he doesn't make his daughter being Gunted the centerpoint of his existence.

That's not true .Vickers has been fucking with Ralph the entire time, ever after Faith returned home to him they started planning their lawfaring bullshit against Ralph. They were already going after him for the revenge porn and also constantly taunting him for not being involved with Xander at all. Faith flaunted her Mexican bf and talked about how great of a partner he is to her and how he is such a good dad to Xander. They would always talk about how they can't stop Ralph from getting parental rights but Ralph choses not to. It wasn't just Null and Jim. Faith and Matthew Vickers both participated in that and then when Ralph finally had to pay child support they acted like it was a huge win for them. If they really wanted Ralph to not be involved in Xander's life at all they could have had that. They could have gone to court and shown how Ralph is totally unfit to be in his sons life at all and probably would have won. But they agreed out of court to let Ralph see Xander.
