Wtf is jilldos obsession eith commenting on wether her daughter's delivered with pain meds or not? Didnt she herself have all her deliveries at a hospital with pain meds and/or epidural? She literally treats her daughters "performance" of delivery like a fetish. Its just so bizarre that she keeps bringing it up.
PL but an epidural doesn't mean its all rainbows and butterflys. At best, you still feel pain, though it is more manageable. At worst they dont work AT ALL, or only one side of your body feels it. Some woman have sciatica pain or nerve issues years after getting an epidural. In very rare cases you can die from complications. With my firstborn, I had crazy tearing up through my urethra and clitoris and believe me, I still felt that with an epidural
I can only imagine how jilldo will try to use her mental gymnastics to argue for one of her daughters having a C-section if one is ever necessary. I seriously hope if they do need one, jill doesnt try to be stupid and prevent them from having one and they end up dying

Supposedly women are to suffer in childbirth because of Eve eating the apple, or something like that. Anyone here with more religious knowledge than I have can explain it better. Using pain meds is unbiblical, and fundies/granola moms like to rub it in everyone's faces how they had a natural birth.

An epidural absolutely works, and from experience I can say it works too well. I had a 38hr long labour. After about 24hrs, I got an epidural. I have a fear of sensory deprivation so I did not want to go numb and panic. From the neck down I was completely numb. Waist down, completely immobile. Nightmares for months. Shamed relentlessly local moms for my entire experience.
I also tore quite badly (although not in the same way. Condolences for your clitoris, SpiceyHuman.)
Can confirm that even through being numb and paralyzed, the tearing was the worst pain I ever felt.
Basically saying that claiming that epidurals aren't a universal experience and anyone who degrades (or boasts) a mother for their labour experience (epidural or no) can go stick their head in a blender. That kind of of judgement is absolutely fetishistic.

I'd hope if Jill tried to drag all her kids to the hospital to harass their sister/nephew the NICU nurses would shut that shit down immediately. Can't image a herd of dirty, sickly-looking kids with lord only knows what germs would be allowed anywhere near a bunch of premature/ill babies.

Yeah, seeing the incubator pic reminded me of the post Jill made about her youngest trying to open the eyes of the first grandson (sorry, I'm bad with names). The same one that was killing flies for candy.
I don't have kids yet, but I would do whatever I could to fight off a relative like Jill and her hoard from touching my baby.
