"Current year" terms that piss you off

There's an alleged German saying that if 9 people sit at a table with a Nazi with no complaint, there's 10 Nazis at the table. The error with that logic is that one could say if a non-Nazi is joined by 9 Nazis at a table with no complaints, there's 10 non-Nazis.

"drip" and other retarded forced nigger memes. It has nothing to do with describing decent clothing.
Drip actually sounds really gross. I¨m thinking runny noses and nasal drip from drug use. I hate that zoomers are using it.

In the same vein although this is kinda cheating because it began in the 90s and grew from there but I just cringe every time I hear "heteronormativity", "queer theory" and "queerplatonic"

The latter is excessively used by horny shippers who read gay subtext into even the most innocuous interactions.

Looks like a new woke cult tactic is to reply to "wrongthink" with something along the lines of "that's nonsense" or "what are you even talking about". In other words, it seems cult members are trying to grift people into accepting The Narrative™ by claiming anything that's "wrongthink" is nonsense. Or they are so indoctrinated that "wrongthink" really is incomprehensible to them.

The word 'content'. Content creator, new content, more content, your content, content generating, varied content, upcoming content, content content content. Id rather it be replaced with 'stuff'. Sounds less consumerismy-dystopian? 'We have new content for your consumption' vs 'We have new stuff for you to watch' idk just drives me fucking nuts

I miss when "content creator" meant something other than "onlyfans whore" 99% of the time.

I used to see that and know it was someone who made videos, comics, memes, etc and maybe I should check it out.

Now I see it and basically know it's just another girl who shows her butthole online for money.

I'm sick of Twitter retards (I could end the post here) posting shit like:

"Common [person] L"
"Rare [person] W"

In case you're slow, L is for Loss, W is for Win. You'll see it the most in the comments for posts by e-debate faggots like Destiny, Hasan Piker, etc.

I've noticed that the "no fun allowed" types (like copyright fanatics and SJWs) like to use "entitled" to try to grift into believing the BS they try to push on others. Like if I say that some Current Year BS is indeed BS, a SJW could claim that I'm "entitled" for thinking that. Or in other words, "entitled" could be yet another buzzword for "wrongthink" or non-conformist.

Dolorously, I attempted to explain to the cro magnon lemmings - who continue, in their odious way - why using the word "genuinely" would lead someone of my superlative pattern recognition skills to see it as a marker of a supreme lack of imagination. Indeed, the repetitive nature of this phenomenon leads me to hope that these creatures have finally ceased to abuse the word "literally", in lieu of this new and exciting modifier for their retarded statements.

Yet another woke grifting tactic I've noticed is claiming the meaning of "woke" or "SJW" is diluted or that it's a blanket term for anything the "alt right" doesn't like and "whines" about. The reality is that "woke" and "SJW" have specific meaning and neither were really around before Current Year (at least outside of fringe academia and activism). And people not in The Cult of Progress are getting tired of having cult-y BS pushed on them, rather than always "whining" about forced Clown World insanity.

"Affordable housing" means to turn affluent, suburban areas into ghettos. People are against it because they know what types the "affordable housing" would attract. Add insult to injury, the housing market is quite high now with minimum income requirements to where your job is barely paying you enough in this economy.

If it hasn't already been said here, I've been seeing phrases like "normalizing transphobia" or "making homophobia mainstream" pop up. Do they forget that for most of history that was how every sane person thought? Do they not remember that gay marriage only became a thing nation wide less than a decade ago?

Referring to opposition to "transgender" or homosexuality as "transphobia" or "homophobia" is also manipulative. It implies fear. I'm pretty sure opposition to such is naturally from aversion. I read somewhere that if opposition to "transgender" and homosexuality were described as aversion, it would be harder to "normalize" them. So LGBTQETC advocates frame opposition to them as fear (and "coming out" as "stunning and brave"), the goal being to "normalize" what isn't that normal in the first place.
