It may have started with Evanescence but let's not forget that other places which have banned him have become targets too (he tried to get a petition against Wikipedia). He throws out the child porn accusation any time a site takes action against him or otherwise does something he doesn't like.

There is no way Perez Hilton just stumbled across that story, either. My guess is Sam was doing the same thing then as he is now and sending self-promoting (and inaccurate) press releases to every lazy "journalist" he can think of.
