Nicholas Robert Rekieta / Rekieta "Law" / Actually Criminal / @NickRekieta - Polysubstance enthusiast, "Lawtuber" turned Dabbleverse streamer, swinger, "whitebread ass nigga", snuffs animals for fun, visits 🇯🇲 BBC resorts. Legally a cuckold who lost his license to practice law. Wife's bod worth $50. The normies even know.
He's not even new money he's the third generation of wealth. Unless his parents planned ahead for the five kids they aren't going to see a red cent of it though it will all go to cuck vacations, recreational drugs, and enough alcohol to drown a whale.
He swears up and down that he doesn't have a trust fund which probably means he has some sort of structured thing similar to a trust fund but since that's not what it is technically called he can weasel out of it.
Nick grew up in Lakeville MN. It was an ultra-safe suburban community with lots of new construction at the time. It was in no sense a "bad area". Nick's problem wasn't how he was raised.
I suppose from Nick's point of view, living a normal suburban middle-class lifestyle and having parents who work for a living is "growing up without money".
This is yet another self inflicted problem he's created for himself. TLDR: NICK IS NOT GENUINE.
Nick has appealed to an audience that yells FREE SPEECH at everything, down to stealing a fucking parking space. Aside from everyone here on the thread who has figured him out, most of his audience are a bunch of Bud Light drinking degenerates who happened to stumble across a "guy you could have a beer with" kind of lawyer. Problem is, he's not a practicing lawyer, in fact, didn't even practice that long on account of being too dumb, too lazy, or both.
In an effort to appeal to his audience, Nick has acted like he's "one of them." The "I'm just like you" approach only works if you're actually "just like you." He's not. Nick grew up in an upper-middle class household, most likely didn't have to want for very much (expect the occasional toy mom said no to in order to teach responsibility) like every other middle-class kid.
GUESS WHAT?!?! There's absolutely NOTHING wrong with that. The 80's were a time Wall Street and Oil Companies made a killing, and his family was somewhat part of that. No problem. But acting like you grew up in gangland Chicago when you grew up in Lakeville "Land of the White People" Minnesota is disingenuous. Parents who worked hard that gave their kid a good life isn't a bad thing. It's only bad when you act like that's not what you had... when you did.
It's also lying................. something he's been doing a lot of to save face with just about every bad decision he makes, and boy are there a lot of them. Which leads me to my next quote response...............
- Nick thinks university grading will and should go away because if you pay a lot of money, you should get a better grade. He recounted a story of a professor that graded on a curve and that made people who put in the same effort got lower relative grades. It should be guaranteed of you pay enough money.
SPOKEN LIKE EVERY FUCKING EAST COAST WASPY MOTHER FUCKIN' CHAD!!!!!
ANYONE that's come in contact with these Harvard elitist mother fucker types knows EXACTLY what I'm talking about (I live in the northeast and encounter these chads daily.)
If you pay enough money......... you should get good grades?! WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?!?!?!
Unless @Himedall completely got it wrong (highly doubt it.) Would you want a doctor who paid a lot to go to Harvard Medical School but gave a fuck about studying operating on you? Yeah........ me neither! I have a personal story that I've put in a spoiler for those who care to read it.
Forgive me but this triggered me so fucking much. I worked with a guy who had the same quality of life as Nick: Grew up middle-upper class, went to Harvard Law, dad was a lawyer (and if you didn't know, he definitely told you) but frankly, he was a fucking lazy asshole who got everything handed to him. When he got in trouble, he was very charismatic and charming and got out of everything. He was like this at the firm I worked with him at, where he was all things while trying to fuck every secretary and paralegal between bathroom coke breaks (No I did NOT work with Hunter Biden, lol.)
We got a new boss at our firm when I was about 6 months in. For context, he was half white/half black, but was conservative, against affirmative action, very Clarence Thomas-like, grew up poor, and worked while going to Yale Law School (which makes this story even better).
Some promotions opened up with people moving back closer to family during COVID, and this asshole thought he easily was going to get one of the 4 spots. 5 people applied (3 in house), he did not get it. It went to 4 people who all went to mid-tier "lower law schools," but they all worked their asses of harder than this asshole ever did. Came to find out, they all grew up lower-middle class and had to work for what they wanted, including a law degree.
The day the asshole was told he didn't get the promotion, he flipped the fuck out, and beat the shit out of one of the copiers in our kitchenette. Instead of firing him on the spot, the new boss told him in order to keep his job, he would have to go to anger management, and if he passed, they would revisit the promotion. Fucker said no and "quit," clearly because he didn't want to put in the work to be a productive member of society. Dude went to go work for his dad where we hear that his own father is so fucking sick of him.
My point............ guys like him (from my personal story) remind me EXACTLY of Nick, and he basically just proved my fucking point with "If you pay for it, you should get the grade." NO NICK...... THAT'S NOT HOW LIFE WORKS. Spoken like the lazy ass rich kid who had everything handed to him......... then when the poor black guy, the poor Mexican, even the poor white kid passes him up because they aren't lazy like the rich white kid, they cry how unfair life is.
But please Nick.......... tell me more how poor you were..........
DISCLAIMER: Not everyone is like that at Harvard, but they are hard to find lol
No.... only for assholes who think they deserve it, or people who haven't worked hard and were just given a shit ton of money for just sitting there ** cough cough ** Rittenhouse/Depp Trial ** cough cough ** I saw this because after all of this, I am always going to compare him to Emily D. Baker who started out the same as him.......... except it was only ONE trial (Depp) that brought her major coin.
I know many a people who would be considered "new money" and what do they do? Invest it, save it, put it in their kids college funds, fix up their house. SMART PEOPLE THINGS. They didn't go out and buy a mustang............. they didn't go to Vegas for closet swinger parties (there's no convincing me they didn't with Coomelot), and they certainly didn't get fucking sued for being a dipshit and calling someone a pedophile not once, not twice, but multiple times on the internet to an audience of 400k+. Most middle-class rich people at one point or another read "The Millionaire Next Door." If you haven't.... do yourself a favor and read it. The complete antithesis of Nick.
Nick grew up middle-upper class, and that's exactly what he is now. He just sees all these other successful people on YT and believes he deserves that same amount of money and more............................ except Nick, those people WORK, and they work because they hire people to help them, unlike you who "can't be controlled or boxed in".............
Has Drexel's family lore ever been established? Like how they became besties at a young age in the same school if Nick's parents were supposedly wealthy and erudite? Drex doesn't strike me as coming from big money and what super-wealthy parent puts their kid in public school where he'll be the star male cheerleader to shame the family name?
You see, it all started when the noble savage Drexel selflessly saved Nick from being sex trafficked and murdered in a local gay bar so now Nick owes a life debt he repays every time Drexel needs a place to hide from the heat or just a warm hole.
From what I've watched of Branca's solo content, he essentially ducks out saying "I'm an expert in self-defense law, not gun law" whenever someone asks him a gun question that doesn't fit neatly into his "5 elements of self-defense" framework.
I've never been able to definitively establish it, but information points to Drex still living in his parents house in Lakeville. Both parents are long gone from the state.
I thought someone dug up that his mother had a travel agent business registered to his MN home address a thousand thread pages back or so when it was being debated whether Drex worked as a flight attendant or not.
Given her bio suggesting his mother was a MN municipal employee now retired in NV, the travel business front may have simply been in her name but was actually Drex' venture.
I get the impression that his family didn't see that real wealth until he was a bit older and his own parents were adults. Maybe I'm wrong. He clearly had restrictions on his trust fund that limited how much he could lay hands on at any one time. His new money with no restrictions arrived at the Rittenhouse trial and he acted like that was the new normal.
My impression is that the parents don't trust Nick with real money. Firstly because I'm certain that if Nick had free access to the "tap", he would have run wild a long time ago. The way they structured giving him the house, the way they sent him to law school and because he is so very full of resentment of them makes me think they probably understand the problems. I'm sure his grumbling about how bad things were raising the kids in the early days is grumbling that his parents were only giving money for "needs" and not the "extras" Nick knows he deserves.
I would think that the money would be put in trusts to ensure that it was rationally spent and spent to the benefit of the children. Nick's basic needs would probably be taken care of for the rest of his life, but (theorizing) I really can't see any parent giving Nick total control. Because in part if they were parents that were foolish enough to pass massive wealth directly to Nick, Nick would have already been getting (and wasting) lifestyle money from them.
My guess is that Nick's upbringing was fairly standard, upper middle class. Later, when Nick was in his 20s, the company Nick's maternal grandfather worked for went public on the London Stock Exchange and I believe it's likely that this unlocked an amount of money that could be described as "substantial" for at the grandparents at the very least. The question is if and when this "tap" would start to flow down to Nick himself. There are a lot of things we don't know.
The other thing to keep in mind @Strix454 is that it isn't just "the house". It's "the houses", plural. The first property, which is in Nick and Kayla's name and not a trust's, was bought in 2009 and then Nick went to law school at William Mitchell, which is located a 2+ hour drive away in St Paul.
By the end of 2022 Nick had accumulated a significant amount of income via his streaming career. Most people in his life situation would spend it on something like paying down their mortgage or put in savings for their many kids' college tuition or whatever. But in this old clip reposted by @Cin Red some time ago, Nick said that he doesn't have a mortgage and doesn't "need to sustain anything to keep going".
From what I can tell about Rekieta's grandparents, despite becoming (extremely) wealthy they continued to live low-key lives and if they spent extravagantly on anything, it was on charitable donations.
Meanwhile when Nick happened to stumble into streaming success by the end of the Depp trial which provided a financial windfall, which was absolutely massive by sector standards but probably not in comparison to his family's wealth, he's been burning it on vacations, an expensive sports car with "LAWPOPE" vanity plates, and so on.
Well if you look at it as "viewers per hour" RB is blowing him out of the water.
Also, correct me if I'm retarded, but doesn't this mean that Rumble exposed themselves as far as manipulated viewer numbers? If Nick was live for 17 hours but only has 115,000 hours of viewership that would mean less than 7,000 people on average actually watch his full stream. Yet the "muh numbers" he keeps crowing about would have you believe he gets on average 100k views.
Based on Rumbles own released numbers, the only way that would make sense is if people tuned in for an average length of time of ~12 minutes before quitting.
According to this site, their viewer calculations are based on concurrent viewers.
115k hours watched / 16.9 hours streamed would mean about 6.8k average concurrent viewers, which IIRC is roughly around where he usually is per Rumble's site.
NB: Concurrent viewers ≠ "Views". Even on YouTube, Rekieta is down to around 1-2k live viewers (concurrent viewers) whenever I watch the stream, but the view counts are something like 10x or more the concurrent viewers, usually something like 15-25k. The reason is that people jump in and out of a stream and are tallied as a "view", but only count as a "concurrent viewer" for the specific length of time that they are actively watching the stream.
It is also worth noting that this site Streams Charts appears to be making a distinction between most watched "channels" and most watched "streamers", the latter of which I guess is a narrower category.
If you look at the most watched channels during the month of June according to a chart posted on the Streams Charts website, you see that it's mostly dominated by lowbrow content for right-wing boomers and Rekieta doesn't ever make the list.
This is probably why Rumble has seemingly changed tack with their exclusivity deals and a large part of their signings appear to be less overtly political content creators.
My American friends and some relatives were doing their barbecue stuff on the 4th of July, posting fat Amerimutt food all over social media. Some were out shootings discs and fireworks.
In fairness to Nick, he claimed that his in-laws or whatever moved their celebrations early because bad weather was forecast for the 4th of July itself.
This probably doesn't mean much, but I haven't seen it before here and it's mildly interesting.

Land value: $39,312
Building value: $500
Total value for property: $39,812
Assessments for tax year: 2009
Land size: 107,026 square feet
Among a few slightly interesting things is the Rekieta Family Trust has at least two Trustees, Tom and Mary Rekieta, which I haven't seen posted here and didn't show up on a search.
It's apparently a plat of land of something called "Rekieta's Hill" or "Rekieta Hill" depending on sources.

If those are 2009 numbers that 2.5 acres 50 miles from Dallas is worth about 10x that value today. If they scooped it up to park some cash following the 2008 crash they were very smart.

If I had to guess, they bought a big chunk of it and have been parceling it out to a number of people and corporations at a nice markup. I believe Tom may also do the mortgage work.
But I'm not a landfag and haven't looked over it in any depth.

To add more context, it was a tangent off student loans discussions. He figures that if you pay a lot of money and get a bad grade, why would you do that if someone who paid the same amount of money got a better version of what you got?
Gee willikers! Maybe there are intangible things of worth? Like principles, hard work, and building character?
Also, if you think you are over-paying for something, you can just STOP!
The world is not fair and 'effort' does not equate to results. This is some participation trophy kid bull.
EDIT: Not to mention scholarships for academic achievement. Does Nicholas really want to remove the only advantage at a top tier school for lower-income students who would not be able to afford it anyway?

Since there are no scholarships for coom, at least not yet, and Nick doesn't give a fuck about anybody else it's safe to assume that since he can't get one, nobody else should either.
I worked with a guy who had the same quality of life as Nick: Grew up middle-upper class, went to Harvard Law, dad was a lawyer (and if you didn't know, he definitely told you)
The significant - crucial - difference here is that Nick went to bumfuck u and William Mitchell Law School, not Harvard, and not Harvard.
Nick not only has no idea what poor or struggling or middle-class is, he has no fucking idea how fucking dumb he is. With family money (iirc, his parents are, or were at some point, 6-figure donors to someplace or other (MN Zoo? Idr); that's not mere UMC), he should have been able to get into the U (of Minnesota), or some private college somewhere. No, he went to Southwest Minnesota State University, which I've never even heard of, and is not even the second-tier state system. It ranks 854th in the US, #29 of 48 schools in MN. For liberal arts it ranks 943 out of 1262 in the US (see prior link). U.S. News info:
Southwest Minnesota State University Rankings

I never shit on people's college choices, but I'm making an exception. Lakeville High School tests into the top 20% of public high schools in MN. It's not a great high school, but it's solid and there are opportunities for motivated students. So to come from a decent high school plus family money and wind up a fucking creative writing major from Southwest Minnesota State University is pathetic.
The argument that because men don't leave their wives when they get older means they don't find younger women more attractive.
Brimstoneddd
Now Nick's going to pretend the base majority of women don't want a a man that's tall, in shape, and rich
Brimstoneddd
Now he's pretending evolutionary biology doesn't exist
robertford9999
yeah there's some weird psychology going on there. nick needs to to reassure himself that his wife is still very attractive so he overcompensates or something and says she is more attractive now than she ever was? idk if that's it. can't put my finger on it.
robertford9999
obv she's still very attractive. but don't need to go so far.
Brimstoneddd
Literally tonight fresh and fit were saying that it's probably best to wait to pursue women and be in a relationship until you have built yourself up because even if you get a great woman, relationships still require attention and energy... But we can just make arguments against positions nobody has here at Rekietalaw...

F&F are faggots, change my mind.CHANGE MY MIND

I don't need to charge your mind on that... It doesn't change the fact of what they said compared to what Nick just argued

sure, build yourself up until you go our to find the one, but might as well go out and shoot some rounds in the meantime. getting some 'experience'

Capitalism is a term coined by Karl Marx and defined by Karl Marx and has nothing to do with the free market the founders of the US invisioned and supported. You're full of shit.
aCompleteRandom
You use Marxist language to attempt to define the vision of the Founders of the United States. There's no question you're full of shit.
DnLMentors
becuase you are the one that lacks a fundmental understanding of accounting .. you also say i am full of shit.. that is fine. becuase i dumb down terms for people like yuou... but alsa i already know this wit is lost on you
aCompleteRandom
"Capitalism" is not an accounting term. It's a Marxist term. And I directly outlined how the government uses permiting, zoning, etc. to artifically increase property values in order to raise property tax revenues. That's not a misunderstanding of accounting. I can already tell you're garbage as a consultant. Arrogant fag.
aCompleteRandom
Again, you're both arrogant AND wrong. Capitalism WAS a term made up by Marx. And that term was USED by government accountants and lawmakers in order to be able to increase taxes on "capital" beyond what other products could be taxed.

You're right in that college choice isn't everything, but in Nick's case the combined evidence of him being the embodiment of several of the deadly sins (sloth, lust, gluttony), and his pure retardation since the great unbecoming, we definitely can shit on him and his shit tier college as a reflection of his poor aptitude especially given the financial advantage he had.
