I have set this up just to see what happens. Do not make a habit of randomly entering your password on clearnet sites that purport to be a mirror. You will be hijacked. This is the only mirror I intend to establish and if it fails I do not intend to replace it.

And to be absolutely clear, 'mirrors' can inject random HTML. So verify any site you enter credentials on the Tor instance or Telegram or something first.
Thanks, Null!

This is false information. The Chinese registrar I used is having issues delivering whois confirmation mail. I just have to have them confirm mail I sent.
Edited my post. It's probably worth editing that maintenance notice on the home page to include a bit about removing any hosts file hacks.

I'll pack away my jump to conclusions mat. Sorry for freaking everyone out.

Whatever host/mirror sneed.today on appears to be blocked by OpenDNS. Was working a few days ago. They can resolve kiwifarms.net just fine.

I run DNSBL with parallel requests to 3 of the fastest available servers to me, the filter is not stopping sneed.today. Works fine in Tor Browser through the onion network.
@Null after the mirror change - sneed.today is now working regularly on clearnet w/ att. Thanks

Anyone that changed their hosts file should probably remove the lines they added, in order to make future outages easier to diagnose. It's real easy to change a setting and forget all about it and then end up pulling your hair out trying to troubleshoot it in the future. When changing something like that, it's a good idea to make notes in a text file with the date and what you changed in case you need to fix something later down the line.

Using some random text file to track changes in another text file sounds like the most autistic thing I’ve ever heard.

I did. But this is still good info to know.
