Seriously I think it should be an option to let you just tweak the NPC companion models to your liking. Like before you do anything a prompt should appear saying "Hey if you change the Race/Sex of the character the Voice Over lines will not work properly. And I don't know maybe for these core characters the lipsyncing and character emotions could also get messed up but judging by the dialogue I think they're all running under a very generic lip syncing system nothing too grandiose in nature.

Now sure the whole point of Baldur's Gate is that you can happily ditch the premade companions and roll with a band of mercenaries. So when the full game releases I'm sure there will be memes of parties being references to Anime and what have you. But I also do want to roll with the premade since they'll actually be reacting to the story in a way custom characters simply cannot. I just want Lae'zel to look like Gamora from Guardians of the Galaxy instead of a hideous swamp monsters. And I wanna make all the titties big of course.
