Kevin Leonardo must be stopped. To give you some context, Leonardo is a controversial TikToker with over 400,000 followers on the platform.

*This article is intended for readers 18 and older.*
He's notorious for his ridiculous videos that usually start with disturbing statements. While you may expect a greeting at the beginning of a TikTok, Leonardo skips past the "Hello, how are you, my name is," and jumps to remarks like, "As a sub, I'm really into colonization," and, "I am so sick of poop chunks getting stuck on my butt hairs."
But Leonardo wanted to take the shock value even further. Making people uncomfortable with his blunt, sexual remarks isn't enough – so he made a video that showed his pulsating butthole on YouTube. The video has a total of 17 million views and nearly 200,000 likes. It's been up for nearly two weeks and is still on the platform. If you're wondering how this pornographic content is still up, it's because Leonardo found a loophole.
He titled the nearly 3-minute video, "Removing BUTT HAIRS Using NAIR Cream - A Visual Guide!" So YouTube sees it as "educational" rather than graphic content that should be deleted. It seems obvious to me that Leonardo has no intention of teaching people about Nair; I think he just wants an excuse to expose himself to millions of people and found a way to do so. Fortunately, YouTube requires its users to prove they're over 18, but TikTok doesn't do the same. I'm concerned about the number of kids who are stumbling on Leonardo's content and looking up the Nair video online.
For your sake, I will not be linking the video, but the first four seconds were a jump scare already. Leonardo starts off by saying, "For reference, this is how hairy my butt is right now," and it cuts to him spreading his cheeks in front of the camera. He then gives a graphic tutorial on how to use the Nair cream, reviews its effectiveness, and proceeds to show his anus repeatedly throughout this video.
Again, I'm not exactly sure how it's possible that Leonardo still has his profile up on TikTok. Many videos that get removed from the platform don't even violate community guidelines, so why does he get to make pornographic comments on an app full of minors? To make matters worse, if you head over to Leonardo's link tree on his TikTok bio, the first website he lists is his "Bottoming Course," which apparently includes video tutorials on butt douching, foreplay, "loosening up," bottoming, and safe sex. His other links redirect to his exclusive club and products like douche and stretch kits.
Unfortunately, social media platforms like TikTok can become breeding grounds for predatory behavior. Children can fall victim to porn or become targets of individuals with ill intentions. Parents believe that TikTok's algorithm curates content based on user preferences and interactions, which is true for the most part, but it's definitely not foolproof. Some content may slip through the filters, potentially exposing children to videos containing violence, sexual content, or other inappropriate material, and the content created by Kevin Leonardo serves as an example.
