Inactive Andrew Dobson / Tom Preston / CattyN - STOP DOING SEXIST CRAP

I can understand the "stop hurting me" tweet. An emotional episode of any show can affect you if you're invested.

But randomly tweeting a person whose had a rough day and warning them not to watch said emotional episode...yeah, that's pretty worthy of mockery. Plus he's only doing it to get said person to pay attention to him.
Well, isn't that what all the Tumblretards want? A world where everything has trigger warning all over so that their carefully constructed fantasy world doesn't get challenged... Or kill themselves because the feelz r 2 real.
Not that it isn't worthy of mockery, of course. That's just fucked up.

Context for above comment.

This comes across as Dobson trying to sound tough by throwing in a random "fuckin" in there, but it only makes him sound rather cringey.

On another note, I'm surprised Dobson is still rocking that homo-ghost avatar. The movie is bombing and the toys are in the bargain bin.

Then again, I guess failures gotta stick together, right?

Tries to make joke, exposes his ignorance of cardinal directions.

If Dobson were to ever find himself in a wilderness survival situation with other people, it'll take about five minutes for the rest of the group to catalog him as a resource. They'll be using his ample fat to fuel fire and his skinned hide to build shelter.

Well that's par the course for Dobby, I was expecting something related to the two films, thanks though

Dobson is now mocking the shit out of the Suicide Squad movie while still defending the new Ghostbusters.

And no, he does not see the irony.

Let's be fair, he sees the irony in same same way he sees how his refusal to practice his art is directly in correlation to his atrophying art skills: far too close to the 'controversy' to take in the greater picture, instant assumption his disgust is the result of someone else's actions and best of all ah fuck it I don't need a point 3, keep fucking tweeting how much current phenomenon X sucks, Blue Bear, that's exactly what Schultz, Davis and Watterson did to cement their legacies. Because that's what artists do, they Tweet. Drawing's just something that happens when the router is down, I guess.

*Power banks are charged to over 9000, full Autismo mode activated (footnote1)* Walt Kelly's "Pogo" was a 'funny animal' strip from the early 50's that existed at the same time as "Anyone who doesn't murder a Communist probably should get murdered as well" McCarthyism. Kelly wasn't a fan, but instead of making one easily forgotten real life three-minute speech (Tweet?), he started drawing McCarthy as an animal in his strip acting like the fucking lunatic that he is. When newspapers threatened to un-subscribe from this 'depiction' of McCarthy, Walt drew a paper bag on the character's head and kept it up. The strips lasted longer than McCarthy did and were probably some of Kelly's best work.

And Arthur Miller. Playwright who banged Marilyn Monroe before it was cool, got his shit kicked in by the same anti-Communist 50's scare, instead of (Tweeting?) 'I don't know how to art any more", he drew upon the pain and feeling of ostrasicement (ostrichment? ost.. the feeling of being alone) and researched and wrote "The Crucible". This is how we as a society (finally) learn how we tend to turn as a group on marginalised individuals. It's not tweeting "blacklivesmatter" while waiting for your pumpkin spice latte to be poured, it's using your (deserved or not) isolation and victimisation to go "oh shit, this is how fear works, maybe I can help others".

Both of these people almost had their entire fucking lives destroyed from personally holding an unpopular opinion. Both could have easily have faded from history with a "fuck it, I'm out" and no one would have held them to task. And yet they doubled down and documented their unique experiences (***not as a Tweet***) and it's helped us all, as a society. Even if you're wrong about the importance of your action (like those kids in the 80's who sent vinyl to South Africa to fight apartheid), you're laying track for others to follow (or not).

Dobson, you drew a shitload of insipid, stupid comics that accurately reflected your view before this whole SJW Tweet mess took off, you can do it again. You won't always get it right, but even when your 'enemy' is diametrically opposed to you (by which I mean 'drawing comics as well, but from an opposing view'), you're still in the crapshoot for mattering to someone, some day. Because.. that's ultimately what this about, really, isn't it?

*Footnote 1* My white-knighting/autismo/powerlevelling entirely dominates this post - let those ratings flow, I entirely deserve it. TEAL DEER AND SEMPER FUCKING FI.

To be fair, both are equally shitty.

To be fair, Suicide Squad is a unproven concept - Ghosbusters 2016 is instead the result of some no talent movie director dry humping the corpse of a once iconic 80s cinema darling while screaming "misogyny" when everyone pointed out that his progressive movie was unadulterated swill.

Okay Dobson. If you think this, I doubt that it is a bad thing to see YOU suffer
