Jaron Seth Bloshinsky / Jazz Jennings / I Am Jazz - Puberty Blockers: Not Even Once

If Jazz 41% himself on campus, unless he arranged for a video to be uploaded on social medias immediately after his death, I'm sure the cult and his family would blame transphobia, Trump, DeSantis and who knows what else for his suicide. His death would be politically weaponized.. I hope he finds purpose and happiness.
Nah I bet Harvard is like Disneyland, nobody dies at Disnetland because they get them offsite before they flatline.

I know people don't like Sander shitting up the thread but I can't help but posting. The bullshit, nonsense, zoomer (((company))) he worked for went belly up. Now Sander will be resting, thank God. I was worried that all that hard labor doing... "digital marketing" would make him collapse.

Head of Growth. LOL.

Sander does have a "head of growth" both figuratively and literally, I guess you could say. We see more of his huge head every day thanks to male-pattern baldness.

Too bad he failed so miserably at his job that the company went belly up. He failed at growing the company so it tanked. But we knew this would happen because despite the fancy degree, Ssnder is dumb and has no marketing skills or common sense. And he can't step away from posting about his allyship with the TQ+++ pedos long enough to actually do his job.

Even more hilarious is that in the same post announcing his failure, Sander is suggesting people should hire him for marketing services.

It's surprising it lasted a year and a half to be honest, especially because for most of its lifespan it wasn't monetised (actually I don't know if they ever ended up implementing their monetisation plan to make users pay for "coaching" sessions). No idea how he thought he could switch from B2C to B2B - there's no way a corporate entity would sign up for an EAP with completely unqualified people who have no liability for bad advice and are only vetted by other "coaches" when there's ample professional organisations that are pretty affordable.

That description was the premise of a Tiny Toons short in the 90s.

Sander's fake enthusiasm is nauseating. You could make a MadLibs out of his posts, because no matter what the company or product he's sure to be excited, positive, optimistic and any number of other buzzwords about [product or service] from [company]. That shirt he's wearing with a logo on it? He'd make the same face, and comb his hair into the same baldspot defense helmet, and wear the same t-shirt just with a different logo printed on it no matter what the company is or does. As for facial expressions, Sander's face somehow manages to have the comedy mask on while subliminally conveying the tragedy mask.

It lasted a year and a half because they rain out of venture capital. It sound like they probably raised an A round im 2021, back when money was free and anyone could get funding. You usually hear people from series A round companies ended up unemployed from their company dying because series A is the easiest round to raise that will give you enough to hire employees. Pretty much the only thing investors care about at that point is growth, and at the stage, a lot of companies are experiencing their first and easiest spurt of growth. Many companies hit a wall when trying to raise series B. Series B requires a more fleshed out business plan and some semblance of a path to profitability. A lot of times, series A companies are running out of runway and growth st that point.

Congratulations! This is the first one you've done with the correct rhythm and metre for a limerick. So, congratulations on writing your first actual limerick.

Sander has started a substack to fill his time. It's called "Smile With Sander". "Smile with Sander is a safe space of openness and positivity. It's where I share my deepest thoughts, emotions, and advice to help us all grow and smile together."

There are two posts so far, which are a blend of cope and a ChatGPT attempt at LinkedIn spam. They are so banal that I actually feel dumber for having read them.

Conquering the Monday Blues: How to Kickstart Your Week with Positive Habits - Healthy Morning Habits to Set The Tone For Success
Anyone else have a love-hate relationship with Mondays? The Sunday scaries are behind you, and the Monday blues begin. You have to get back into your routines, work, and leave the memories of the weekend behind. According to a study by RestoreZ, "65 percent said they rarely wake up feeling rested and energized. And this daytime tiredness negatively affects 74 percent of respondents' productivity."

So, the Monday blues are real, but what are some of the best ways to get over them and ensure your week is productive and fulfilling? Today, I want to dive into some of the ways that I motivate myself to get up and start my day, even when everything feels like a chore and I don't want to get out of bed.

Personal experience:

Typically, I would dive into past experiences, but today's encouragement is inspired by what happened this morning. Last night, right before bed, I decided not to set an alarm. I wanted to hold myself accountable and let my feelings dictate how I would start my Monday. At 6:56 am, my body shot up with adrenaline from a bad dream. I immediately tried to shake it off but still felt tired. So I went back to sleep... My Monday blues had begun. About an hour later, my body was ready to try again. This time, I wouldn't let my negative energy stop me from kickstarting my day. I took a quick glance at my phone, avoided endless scrolling, made my bed, and was out to the gym within 10 minutes.

me at the gym this morning :)
In the past, I might have turned off 3+ alarms, thinking "10 more minutes," which would turn into an hour, or spent an extra 30 minutes mindlessly consuming content. But today, I followed some of my best practices that I encourage anyone trying to find more balance and be more productive to follow.

Here are my best morning habits:

Set one or fewer alarms:
I never set more than one alarm. Why? Setting multiple alarms does two things:
  • It teases your mind into thinking it's okay to sleep past the first alarm.
  • It indicates to yourself that you're unable to get yourself up and out.
It's crucial to tell yourself that you're strong and capable of reaching your goals. When you set multiple alarms, the odds are you won't wake up until the last one. You create a scapegoat that encourages you to rely on last-minute objectives and develops bad habits. Let's think about this in a non-waking up aspect. Imagine you have a plane to catch or a work assignment to do. By starting your day with multiple alarms, you're telling yourself it's okay to arrive right on time or complete the assignment last minute because you "still have time." This is unhealthy and a bad habit!

Instead, use alarms as proof of your capabilities. Set one or none and make it a habit to get up and out. By doing this, you no longer have that security blanket and will have no choice but to get your day rolling. I recommend trying this on a weekend or holiday first, so you can start adopting this healthy habit.

2. Avoid endless scrolling:
As a digital strategist and someone who consistently uses social media, I often start my days with endless scrolling. It's one of my most unhealthy habits and one of the most difficult ones to break. When I think deeply about it, the gratification I get from scrolling is minimal, yet the positive effect of deciding to skip scrolling is massive! On days that I save my scrolling and jump right into my day, I always see positive effects.

I know it's easier said than done, but here are some of my best ways to avoid scrolling on social media:
  • Set a specific break time during the middle of your day for social media scrolling.
  • Set time limits or locks on social media applications to remind you not to use them.
I could write an entire blog on the reasons for not starting your day with social media scrolling, but I'll save you the scroll ;)

3. Make your bed:
I know it sounds cliché, but both my experiences and many studies show that making your bed has a positive impact on your mental health. By starting your day with a made bed, you are setting a clear intention and taking control of your environment. Studies show that "Living in a tidy environment improves or retains brain function and enhances the general quality of life." By making your bed, you not only create a routine and a tidier environment for yourself, but you also improve your health!

For me personally, making my bed is something I do automatically. I work from home and have to work in an environment that feels welcoming and clean; otherwise, I will drive myself crazy. Seeing my made bed makes me less likely to jump back into it and more likely to be well on my way towards crushing my day. When I'm leaving my house, making my bed is also important to my well-being. Coming home to a nicely made bed always makes me feel good and fulfilled. In fact, I just got home (I slept at my parents' last night) from a weekend getaway, and I was so happy when I came home to a nicely made bed.

my nicely mad bed :)
Start your day off with an accomplishment - make your bed.

4, Engage in physical activity:
Let me first start by sharing that doing something is better than doing nothing. Every person has different activity goals, but the suggestion here is to do something active at some point in the day. Whether it's a walk, run, workout, yoga, or any other form of activity, it's helpful to do at least one active thing every day. This one is easier said than done and varies for everyone.

I plan to create an entire blog on this topic in the future, so hopefully, you stick around. But I like to say that as long as I do one active thing every day, it's impossible for me to have a bad day. Just doing one active thing means I did something to improve my mental and physical health. I know that this might not be a morning routine for some people reading this, but I hope it becomes part of your routine. Get up and out or give yourself a beneficial activity to look forward to every day!

5. Remind yourself that today is a new day:
It's so easy to get caught up in the past. One bad day or event has the ability to affect the following days, weeks, or even months. Of course, it's important to learn, grow, and feel emotions toward the things that happen in your life, but it's also essential to always move forward. Put one foot in front of the other and focus on how you can grow. When you think about what happens on any given day, one thing will always remain the same: the sun will rise in the morning and the moon will emerge at night. There will always be darkness and there will always be light.

Whenever you start a new day, always put whatever you can behind you and focus on the progress you can make today. No matter how rough a previous day was, you have the power to make today great!

Last but not least: Be kind to yourself!

Change doesn't happen overnight. Many people struggle with establishing routines and finding more positivity in their lives. If you resonated with these tips, it's up to you now to take the steps and start applying some of these suggestions. You won't have amazing mornings every day, but be proud of any progress you can make! Always be kind to yourself and remind yourself that you're human.

I hope that these routines help you overcome morning struggles and find more positivity in your life. This is only my second wellness blog, and I'm already loving it. "Finding Balance in an Unbalanced World" - How to be adaptable and find your balance during crazy times
Get a job. Start a family. Raise a family. Stay healthy. Care for your parents. Make money. Pay rent. Eat healthy. Get enough sleep. Repeat.

From the moment we begin to understand the world around us, society's perceptions of success are imposed upon us. This pressure to conform to society's versions of success creates our own unbalanced world. This explains why Just a third of Americans are satisfied with their wellness.

Every day is filled with numerous tasks and priorities. Just when you think you've completed something important or achieved something great, it always feels like there's something else to do. Finding the balance to give yourself a break or celebrate accomplishments, while continuing to push forward, can often feel like a never-ending loop! Yesterday, this is exactly what happened to me.

Personal struggles with finding balance

So, in case you didn't know, last week was my first week without my full-time job. It has been really exciting, yet really scary. Trying to find the balance to work towards new dreams and opportunities has put a lot of pressure on myself. I have so many different things I want to start, but am struggling with where to begin.

Yesterday, I had one of those days where I felt ready to take on the world, but couldn't even get past my own mind. By noon, I had completed small errands and was ready to tackle the list of tasks I had created for myself. Then, from one conversation, my whole day changed. The conversation triggered me to check on my personal website which I had neglected for 3 years. I was shocked to find out my site was hacked and I didn't know how to access it. From recovering my domain from hackers to starting my site from scratch, the entire afternoon was consumed by something I didn't plan on doing. While somewhat productive, I felt stressed the whole time and increasingly frustrated. I thought I had lost balance and control over my day.

Finally, I closed my laptop around 5:50 pm, grabbed a snack, and headed out for some pickleball with friends. During pickleball, I told my friend about my day and how I’ve had such an unproductive week. He responded by saying, "Wait, didn't you tell me yesterday you worked until 8, worked out twice yesterday and today revamped your entire website". I stuttered and came back down to earth. He was right! When I returned home later that night, I decided to reflect on my day.

Throughout the day, I was so stuck in the "endless loop" that I hadn't come up for any air. I realized that I actually had a lot of balance - I just had taken on too many things. My list of things I wanted to accomplish was far from finished, but I had still accomplished a lot. The pressure to be the hero of my own life made me feel like a failure! In reality, I just had to lose my balance to find balance in an unbalanced world.

My tips on how to find balance in an unbalanced world:

  1. Create a list of things you want to accomplish: Writing out tasks you need to achieve helps keep you disciplined. From the smallest to largest tasks, it serves as a reminder of what you want to do.
  2. Be adaptable: The average human spends roughly 79 years or 28,835 days, or 692,040 hours, on Earth. Even if you don't always finish everything you set out to do, be easy on yourself. You can't be a superhero, juggle a full-time job, have an intense workout, eat healthily, spend time with friends and family, and do everything every day. You will burn out. Finding balance is about being adaptable to where the day takes you and accepting what you can and can't do.
  3. Don't overload your plate: Saying "no" is another crucial way to find balance. Recognize when your plate is full and learn to say no to certain things. Saying "yes" without animosity and "no" without regret will set you on track to balancing your life.
  4. Time management: Set aside specific times to give yourself breaks or really push forward. By creating intentionality with how you spend your time, you'll find yourself much more productive and fulfilled.
  5. Try to have at least one thing you do consistently: This actually relates to my last blog about Conquering the Monday Blues. For me, working out and making my bed are two things that help me center myself each day. Whatever that is for you, try to establish that one routine daily!
  6. Reflect: Spend time alone with your emotions and thoughts. Allow yourself to feel emotions and rebalance yourself on your own. Sometimes you have to lose your balance to find your balance. Although I also encourage socializing to find balance, it's equally important to develop your own ways to cope and overcome your struggles.
  7. Make time for socializing with friends and family: Aside from alone time, you have to put down work and be present in your social experiences. This really helped me yesterday and surely can help you too.
  8. Be yourself: Never conform to what other people say defines your success. Stick to your goals and do what you can to achieve them.
Finding balance is not about perfection but about progress. We need to be kind to ourselves and celebrate our accomplishments, even if we haven't crossed off every item on our to-do list. By staying true to ourselves and prioritizing our well-being, we can navigate the unbalanced world with greater resilience and peace of mind! Good luck everyone. Keep smiling <3
Sander's advice boils down to "don't set your alarm", "don't stress about being productive" and apparently "don't bother proofreading your blog posts". I suspect he will not be getting a job for some time, given he's patting himself on the back for not having started applying for work.
