Periodically, on every single sub or forum on this planet, someone will eventually comment:
"I think I'm taking a break from this place for awhile. I've noticed so many more people posting X and I just can't deal with it. It's really sad to see this place go downhill."
Back in my day this would be met with "Bye!" But now they get pleas to stay, agreement that there has been an invasion, or shit talking the motivations and content of posters of X.
I've been seeing it lately on the Blocked and Reported subreddit complaining about people always talking about trans.
When Ovarit got started there was a lot of "Wow, I'm sooooo disappointed this place is so white-focused." Always crowing for a POC space on there and more focus on non-white women's issues, as if there wasn't already PLENTY of focus on that shit. They kept getting criticized for having like, a crafting sub, and not a black sub. Weirdly, they haven't caved yet, but I haven't gone there in awhile.
Anyway, this kind of posting is so annoying. It's just another way to do a roll call of who still supports the ideology and, I guess, put the strays on notice.
Farmers don't seem to put up with that very much, probably because there isn't a central dogma to begin with. Closest I've ever seen here is some men of a particular discontent with women expressing disdain at the influx of us broads and our nuisance opinions after getting booted from reddit and finding this place. But at least that was a real and noticable change, not just performative questioning.
