I found it incredibly revealing that Nicky Cucks decided to snarkily message Josh mid-stream to say that there's no apology option.

I thought it was pretty obvious that Josh meant for that to happen before litigation started. If he intentionally misinterpreted this, then that's just spiteful maliciousness. If it was unintentional, then he's very autistic.

I will autist some more over this because it's Nick "maps on the wall no I didn't mean it like that" Rekieta and notice that there's no statement in there about why it isn't an option. With most other people in that context it would mean well the other side won't accept it but with who's in play here I'm not convinced. It's kind of tough though since I'm also not willing to give either side the benefit of the doubt. As it is with Nick in this lawsuit and anything he does I will just sit back and say

I don't think Nick deserves a benefit of the doubt. I predict that he will pay Graph six figures MINIMUM.

Well he is a lawyer being sued over something that should be extremely easy to avoid and if not, dismiss at the first hurdle. So yeah I would agree that he's a bit autistic. I'm just saying that we don't really know if the message to josh was even snarky to begin with. Maybe it was just intended to clarify things, who knows?

IIRC, a lot of these have secondary markets showing in churches and selling DVDs and stuff to them. Some of them started out just targeting this but then when Passion of the Christ was a blockbuster some of them were like "I wonder..." and they don't even show in the big progressive markets outside of doing premieres and stuff just for PR purposes. There's been some efforts by opponents to target some of the large chains like AMC because they'll show these in Red States or wherever and bigotry shouldn't be allowed anywhere. (Which is of course the kind of thing China does to get Hollywood to show what they want.)
