Biden Orders Selected Reserve and Certain Members of the Individual Ready Reserve of the Armed Forces to Active Duty - Nice DD-214, be a shame if someone NEGATED IT!

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including sections 121 and 12304 of title 10, United States Code, I hereby determine that it is necessary to augment the active Armed Forces of the United States for the effective conduct of Operation Atlantic Resolve in and around the United States European Command’s area of responsibility. In furtherance of this operation, under the stated authority, I hereby authorize the Secretary of Defense, and the Secretary of Homeland Security with respect to the Coast Guard when it is not operating as a service in the Navy, under their respective jurisdictions, to order to active duty any units, and any individual members not assigned to a unit organized to serve as a unit of the Selected Reserve, or any member in the Individual Ready Reserve mobilization category and designated as essential under regulations prescribed by the Secretary concerned, not to exceed 3,000 total members at any one time, of whom not more than 450 may be members of the Individual Ready Reserve, as they deem necessary, and to terminate the service of those units and members ordered to active duty.

This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person.

JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR.

THE WHITE HOUSE,
July 13, 2023.

WIKIPEDIA
Operation Atlantic Resolve, though not a "named" operation, refers to military activities in response to Russian operations in Ukraine, mainly the War in Donbass. It was funded under the European Deterrence Initiative. In the wake of Russia's 2014 intervention in Ukraine, the U.S. and the U.K. took several immediate steps to enhance the deterrence posture along the eastern flank of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), including augmenting the air, ground and naval presence in the region, and enhancing previously scheduled exercises.[1]

The US described the activities as taking measures to enhance NATO military plans and defense capabilities and maintaining a persistent presence in Central Europe and Eastern Europe.[2] Atlantic Resolve rotations are overseen by a regionally aligned headquarters there.[3][4]

US Army Europe
Since April 2014, U.S. Army Europe and Africa has led the Department of Defense's Atlantic Resolve land efforts. Atlantic Resolve provides rotational deployments of combat-credible forces to Europe to show our commitment to NATO while building readiness, increasing interoperability and enhancing the bonds between ally and partner militaries.
As of Nov. 2021, the newly reactivated V Corps has assumed command and control of all Atlantic Resolve rotational forces.
(So, they reactivated V Corps. Here's the thing about V Corps. It's the only authorized European unit for fucking NUKES)

Gee, Joe, whatcha need 3 Divisions for?

Pardon me while I go to the REEEEING DOME.

Thing is... I'll go anyway. Probably wouldn't accept me because of my medical history, probably would assign me to a factory or shipyard, but its personal really; Dad served thirty years. Grandpa served in WW2. I ain't a pussy. I'll do my family proud. But they better be sending that letter in the mail first.
Nigga I get that it's your dharma but maybe throw your life away for something good and not for getting Jews more shekels.

Realistically what could the government of 2023 possibly do to you?
Debank you, destroy your credit, revoke your driver's license, revoke professional licenses, shut off your phone, power, and plumbing, release your complete cell phone/browsing history, etc, etc...

I'm not saying this is LIKELY to happen, but the government can easily destroy you with the push of a button at zero risk.

I'm not afraid of death, either get shot or get nuked are my choices as a 20 something male with little financial standing in the world. I literally cant run even if i wanted to. AND Part of the reason is that I'm sick of the people around me IRL being absolute pacifist hippies, even though they themselves are bigger and stronger than I, either being hippy liberals or fucking lolberts. I may not have much, but I love my home, even if Utah is the only sane state left. I know how to shoot, weld, drive a truck, which gives me far better odds than someone on TikTok all day

And all your family will have to show for it is a folded flag and some nice boots.

Things that only matter to people who have that stuff. If your a 40 year old guy with a house, good job, cars, and 401k that sounds scary.

But your typical 20 year old zoomer owns nothing and posts everything online anyways. The government can make things super annoying short term for him but it's still 100x better then being the 5th wave of human meat getting forced in to a minefield by a troon commander. And like I said any punishment for draft dodgers will be taken away next election cycle anyways to buy voots.

I'll do my family proud.
What a good goy.

If you truly are unafraid of death and are fully aware of how evil the people holding the reins are, then you have nothing to lose by telling them to piss off as long as you possibly can. Really the only threat the government has at this point is that they can take away the few comforts and conveniences that they haven't yet priced you out of. You genuinely seem like a righteous dude and I always hate to see upstanding people say "well, they're rotten to the core but I still should help them anyway", because that's exactly the kind of mindset that permits their evil to flourish.

What do you truly have to lose by telling them no?

The really fun thing that is gonna happen soon is that the people that signed a 4/6 year long deal under Trump (since the dude actually loved the military, they loved him and tried its best to get them out of wars) are going to be coming up soon for re-enlistment......and I'm betting they are just gonna get the fuck away ASAP.
They can probably extend the contract. I always said in the event of a draft the first thing to happen would be the people about to EAS would be extended since that's cheap, then the recently separated would be brought it, then the poolies that have DEPd would have their bootcamp day moved up, then the people trying to enlist but waiting for paperwork would be waived in. It would be a while way before a draft, at least enough time to know its happening

We're also coming up on the point where the people that joined right before 2020 are coming up on their reenlistments as well, and I doubt those people will want to rejoin so they can protect the same people that brought them the Summer of Love and the fiery but peaceful protests. The entirety of 2020 combined with the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan is likely to be a real one-two punch to their recruitment numbers, to the point where I've heard hard-core third-generation military families say they won't be encouraging their kids to join.

Back in the 2000's I had the recruiters start calling when I turned 18 and I just handed the phone to my dad (a 20+ veteran) to let him chew the recruiter out about benefits/posting/MOS/etc. After that they stopped calling.

I'm surprised we haven't seen some tiktok video's of the same of a recruiter calling up some podunk 18 year old and his Iraq/Afgan vet brother/dad/uncle just shithosing the recruiter over the phone.

If the draft comes back, I simply wont go. And I cannot be made to go, whatever kind of robloxing that might entail.
It really isn't hard to get out of the draft, when it comes time to evaluate you and you get to the psychiatric evaluation, you walk into the office with the doctor, say "You can get anything you want at Alice's Restaurant!" and walk right out.

It works in multiple situations, if you're alone they'll think you're sick and they won't take you. If you do it with another guy, in harmony, they'll think you're both faggots and won't take either of you.

Nigga I get that it's your dharma but maybe throw your life away for something good and not for getting Jews more shekels.
IDK. GI Bill works out really well, if you aren't aimless.

I'm not sure I'd repeat that decision in this current setting, and a senile Commander-in-chief doesn't work for me either. Personally, I'm not a fan, but that's just wacky me.

Burgerbros, I love you and I know it's fun to fantasize about how you would dodge the draft and watch libtards get blown to smithereens in a ditch in Ukraine on 4chan's /rekt/ threads, but it's not happening.

You have the most colossal military dong on the planet, and if Biden wanted to fuck Russia with it, he wouldn't do it with 3000 reservists and 100k unwilling draftees. Moving a handful of troops here is just posturing, for now.

I view this as a prelude. They always test to see the reaction. I'll be more concerned if other things start happening. Make no mistake though the elites are mostly old as dirt and want to see their grand plan to permanently create a class ruling over what they perceive to be the stupid people in every single nation at least close to fruition.

To add where my thoughts are - on the plus side, at least I have the KF patches to throw on some gear when stuck in a foxhole.

I dug a little bit into this news and according to further press releases by the Whitehouse it's only approximately 3,000 people with very specific skills related to the Army Air wing or what you Yanks call it.

I guess they didn't have enough skilled people active to ensure the US could take part in the big NATO exercise in Germany this fall so they're calling back folks temporarily and at great cost. Some really nice bonuses going out to those who "volunteered" I hear.

Cuz they didn't want these 3k people to re-up for more then a few months they had to go this route legally I guess. Call em up temporarily then let em go home after the big show with phat bank in their pockets.

Typical US shit IMHO. Spend money rather then solve the real problem.

So when you enlist, you usually end up enlisting for 4 years (sometimes longer if you have a long training cycle, like linguistics). Let's say you did your 4 years and that was enough for you, so you get discharged, you get your DD-214, and you can grow your hair out, have a beard, and all that cool regular civilian stuff. Well, even though you're out, you're in what called the IRR, the Interim Rapid Reserve for about 2 years. During that time, if dictated by Presidential Order, the government can tell you "Get your ass back to base! Your country needs you!"

There are ways to not fall victim to being in the IRR, but they're generally being part of active duty for a longer period of time, or doing time in the reserves; so once you're out, you're out.

For whatever reason (manpower shortages), the President just ordered 3,000 people to get the fuck back to base because their country needs them.
These things are EXACTLY why I'm not too worried about this press release. Sending 3000 men over? Better make a public statement about it so Russia knows about it! This is more likely due to recruitment pitfalls; perhaps more troops in Poland and the Baltics were agreed upon at the NATO summit. Things become less intimidating when you actually stop and analyze what's really there.

You're not wrong about spending; but a lot of that spending doesn't go where you think it goes. A lot of the tech that gets developed and gets used is not cheap; and more and more maintenance and supply (and other) positions are getting more and more civilian contractors. A single AGM-65 Maverick Missile costs $500,000 by itself (at least it did in mid-2000's money); I can't cite much else, that one always stuck with me, but point being shit is expensive and civilians cost more than actual uniformed miltary, and since civilians are taking over, the uniformed military isn't as skilled as they should be. Now when it comes to maintenance, the Navy is years if not decades behind maintenance for its ships; on top of having a series of collisions on the sea. While it's been a good while now, but not long after I got out there was an article in the Military Times about how an Aviation Museum got raided by the Marine Corps, because they couldn't source parts to get shit working. Combine parts and maintenance shortage with all the shit we gave away to Ukraine for free, and while our "military spending" is massive; it doesn't go to stacking bodies, it doesn't go to making the biggest, baddest, boomiest weapon, it's mostly bullshit... ... ... it's a fucking waste.

TUSS George Washington overhaul took six years, billions of dollars, and way too many suicides. This isn't the military of WW2. This isn't even the military of Vietnam.
