did another clearcoat on my custom built PGM300 and the gobstopper finish Jem that I made out of a Charvel DK24 because the last clearcoat on both of these was more of a matte - I thought I could get a better shot with the flash but it just made the red reflector triangles light up. Hard to see it in the pic but they are both nice and shiny now.

I still need to wire this one up and get a few replacement parts since I am using a legit original Edge out of a real PGM300. the measurements of these (the ones with the Team JCraft necks) are a little off compared to the standardized parts of that time - even though the neck is 100% custom it was built on original spec width and left squared off in the back. I did this so I could plane and sand a hexagonal profile to the back of the neck so there are several flat sections and it just feels really cool kinda like an ergonomic Strandberg neck

There was a brief period in WW2 when anti tank hand grenades seemed like a good idea. Take the soviet rpg-43 for example, it's a shaped charge HEAT explosive on a stick, with spring loaded tassels to maybe sort of stabilize the grenade in flight because these types of explosives need to hit front first in order to have maximum armor penetration.
