Thing is though, although its English version "Rory" has apparently seen a little bit of traction as a woman's name (as a shortening from Aurora?), Ruairí is 100% a boy's name. It means "red haired king".

In the area I was living at the time, OW got occupied by the homeless. Besides making OW look like it was just a bunch of methy ne'er-do-wells, I think it also got people used to homeless just being anywhere they wanted all the time.

I'm watching some (not all) boomers in my family piss away generational property to local landgrabbers so they could go on expensive vacations before they expire. They didn't earn those land and houses - they were handed to them, some of those by their childless aunt who could have sold off everything but didn't.

It's quite ironic. I had a very schizo (probably also demented) boomer/silent gen aunt (border years) who was a hermit and hated spending time with us, but she was among the based ones who was adamant property had to stay in the family and refused to sell until the very bitter (tragically lonely) end.

This is a story I've heard many times and from many other people.
