Breast & Ovary complaints

Another option is to use a depilatory cream if you are like me and waxing is just too painful to even consider it
Yeah that's a good suggestion, I just wish it didn't smell so bad. Waxing doesn't hurt too much provided you hold the skin very taut and apply pressure immediately after removal to confuse the pain receptors.
How about buying one of those home IPL devices? It’s not flawless but two months of weekly treatments and then monthly treatments thereafter keeps the hair almost completely gone for me.
I had a look at getting one of those a while ago, I read that it's best used if you have darker body hair and it will only work on terminal hair? If you have lighter body hair or hair that has low contrast against your skin color it increases the risk of burns.

Yeah, it’s basically a flash of light that hurts the follicle and sends it out of the growth cycle and into the recovery state for a few months. It needs contrast to make sure the energy goes into the follicle rather than get absorbed by the skin, so it’s most effective for dark hair and white skin, less so for dark hair and dark skin, and not at all for blonde or red hair. I’m basically the ideal combination for it, but there are settings to let it be used for olive skin, and even light brown skin. It’s probably less effective though.

Yeah my issue is that I would have wanted to use it on my legs too but I only have vellus hair in certain areas.

Did my comment got deleted or the site shat itself again? Anyway, I was trying to reply that the bad smell is a price I am willing to pay to not use a razor or wax ever again in the sensitive areas, but my legs are fine with any of those

I've looked into IPLS and laser treatments, i've really iffy about home treatments and the beauty industry all together. Might just suffer the occasional infections if i don't catch them in time. That being said i still get them even when i let the arm bush grow out to make it worth shaving, getting good at lancing them before they form badly under the skin.

I have thick, fast-growing hair and so I can be prone to ingrowns if I'm not careful. Looking at home laser treatments. I don't mind the pain of waxing, and it does spare you razor burn, but in my experience it doesn't make you any less prone to ingrowns.

My schizo conspiracy theory is that regular visits to the OBGYN aren't necessary unless you have issues or concerns and is a psyop pushed by Big Doc. To what end, I am not yet sure. But it's fishy to me.

Generally after getting a wax it is advised to avoid using scented shower gels, wear tight clothing and not to go swimming for several days afterward. Then provided you exfoliate regularly and keep the area moisturized it should keep ingrowns at bay.

Yeah I agree with you on this, I tend to go about half as often as they recommend.
As long as you are in tune with your body, if there is a problem it will find a way to tell you.

This and the horror stories about how the gyno treats the patients and are not always careful getting up in there has kept me from going. Mom only ever went whenever she was about to become pregnant, which sounds about right, though now that my aunt (nearing her 60s) has gotten her uterine cancer diagnosis, she's considering getting an appointment herself to make sure all's well.

The schizo theory is apparently one of the reasons why Mom never took me to get the last shot for meningitis or whatever-the-fuck the vaccine's called. She knew I wasn't going to be sexually active before marriage, and I knew I wouldn't have gotten active before marriage, and it was like the first or second dose that decreases your risk of cervical cancer. The push to get those vaccines instead of actually sitting down your dumbass kids to teach them about the risks of sex before the body's ready is rather fishy, yeah. I don't think boys have to have so many shots like girls do if at all, now that I think about it.

I can't be the only one that thinks ovarian cancer is scary AF. It’s usually not detected til it's too late since the symptoms are so generic, and I know the first wife of one of my uncles died from it in her 30s.

The health worker who put in my IUD said its thankfully uncommon, but it's still one of the scarier cancers to me.

And while i'm complaining its not boob but, i'm so sick of cysts and boils on my armpits the infections drive me nuts, i either have to let my armpits go and grow hair (which everyone about🤮) Or shave when it gets long enough then deal with the aftermath of infections and puss lumps.
Maybe ask a doc about hidradenitis suppurativa, or see if any of the home treatments people have for it help.

I want to go to an OBGYN just to see if there's anything I can do to ease some of my pre-period BPD. I get depressed, lose all motivation for everything, and I barely realize that I'm due to bleed until my thyroid nodules swell, and I can feel them.
