I really regret finding out what the actual unemployment numbers were. I knew things were bad, but seeing it at 52% just makes America's situation seem hopeless.

The debt problem has gotten to the point that no one can fix it. The US would have to declare bankruptcy which would be like starting over from scratch.

it's not naive hope, it's fact. If you actually talk to people in person, 2024 is their last hope that America can be salvaged. If they lose hope in America, I know for a fact that some people WILL try to take out some politicians as their last act in life. They aren't discussing their plans because J6 set a big distrust in any online planning or discussion.

These are just people i know. There are billions of disenfranchised Americans with enough brain cells and determination to find a target and take them out. You just need one or two deaths from the more committed ones to get the ball rolling, and that will be the sign that it's open season for the rest. if the Democrats shamelessly pull off another steal with the whole country watching, they will never be seen in public again as doing so is an immediate death sentence for them and their families.

competent people went "fuck this" and slowly pulled away from general society. the competency and care that the average person put into their job or their community is focused more on their family or their own business/personal interests now. if you're a competent person who's still putting effort into your business you're completely swamped right now because there are fewer choices for everything right now

the number of competent people is also going down apparently. can't remember where I saw it (and didn't save it), but there was a study (I think) that claimed that between 2006 and 2018 cognitive ability went down double-digits, might even been 20%.
then there was another study a few years back kinda claiming the same and humanity getting dumber.

of course it might just be a side-effect of importing millions of low-iq rocket scientists from africa and the middle east dragging the average down compared to before, but who knows yet what all the effect of the rapid technological progress the last 20 years is.

Nobody really knows how they'll react in those situations. I had a time in my own life where I was without vehicle and due to some family health issue had to walk approx. 27 miles multiple days for various reasons. I'm no athlete or marathon walker but I did it even in the cold to my own detriment. More or less often when you're stuck in such a shitty situation some people will adapt even if they aren't the most fit for those situations.

Most people who will kill themselves when it occurs do so merely because they are afraid to try not because they couldn't adapt and overcome. It won't be easy or fun but people will survive just as they've always done. It's more about willpower something people forgot how to adopt in trying times.

I know this is far worse than that situation, truly but the concept still pans out the same no matter how awful it is.

I'll agree some will try, but a large amount are merely bluffing and doing the coping technique of trying to trade/threaten. "If you do this we'll do this." I'll only say I hear murmurs and whispers about such situations and claims at times but it's not some large amount, I expected nothing less though.

The funniest thing is I've seen more people willing to assault their managers working at Wal Mart who weren't niggers than people willing to attack politicians who are far more damaging to their life.

I'm not that far from your same boat overall, sometimes your body or your mind wills yourself to survive no matter how awful. I've lived through 1 meal-a-day (basically fasting) for years when I was in bad situations, surviving not going to the doctor due to lack of expenses in life threatening illnesses/etc.

It's hard to fathom if you've never lived in such situation but the mere fact means most could. It would be severely hard to let go of the old way of life, but unless you're old like 50-60 with no excess resources, most will be able to survive even if in merely meager conditions. It just feels impossible imagining it but when you're in those situations it becomes far easier than one would believe. It's like the old saying sink-or-swim. You tell yourself to do it and you do it or you give up and suffer the consequences.

Well I mean in frost bite tempertures, and I ended up with early stage marks from it. Only because at the time I didn't have gloves and I didn't expect 20 degree temp during March or after, and because I never expected to walk for long periods of time in freezing temperatures with my life style. I got lucky.
