To be far more fair to Pat than is possibly deserved, it would be reasonable to assume that he could be getting his number signed up for all sorts of groups, organisations, and other spam. It wouldn't surprise me for every one of these that's a gotcha, there's a handful that are him trying to get off an automated list for something he's been signed up for, but because he was legitimately signed up for it of course we don't know about it.
Which, of course, is why he should just change his fucking number, and it's entirely on him at this point that he hasn't. I hope that's a detail that Porsalin corrects in his video, if he currently thinks the Pests are somehow tracking his number every single time. I think it's incredibly relevant that for all Pat complains about his harassment he took no steps to deter it before the lawsuit, and indeed actively participates in most of the conversations.
Honestly, I believe anyone hearing the Pat story at this point will assume that his atalkers have somehow dug out his new numbers and kept harassing him, because surely that's the first thing he tried. I'd presume a number of people he's told about this asked him, "So how did they keep getting your number?", because only the biggest fuckups would not have changed their number in the however many years Pat's now claiming to have been harassed for.

In order to fuck with a petty enemy I made in the pub once, I wrote his number and a menu of very cheap sexual services up in a public toilet known for such action.
I can only assume he did change it and have his new one de-listed as I checked on his entry a few weeks later and all phone numbers were now private.

Quasi is very patient and seems to be doing a lot behind the scenes - there have been references to Pat doing every possible trick to delay/stall proceedings. I wouldn't be shocked if he crossed the line (his tweeting and current media tour cannot be helping, him owing money was on NBC Nightly News).

I think the simple act of ignoring the debt is technically "contempt of court" although there's probably more at work here. Starting the amortization and then ignoring it was not helpful - there's a lot of ways a court can do debt collection and I think Pat's about to learn some of them.
I don't think Pat's going to enjoy prison, but he's not poor and isn't paying - there's collection agencies, there's state places that take your tax refund, etc.

I assume that the contempt of court motion is about Rick refusing to pay Quasi, ignoring the court's order.
The affidavit could just be Quasi stating that Pat has not paid a dime yet. For collection purposes, it was probably not very wise to constantly post yourself and your witchy wife traveling or hanging out at venues with expensive alcohol. Shows that you have money to spare, and are wasting it instead of paying your debtors.

Any time the Court says "do this" and you refuse to do the "this" it's potentially contempt. Usually there is a show cause hearing to give the offender a chance to prove the not doing of "this" wasn't in bad faith.
Considering Pat has publically stated he would never pay up, I can't imagine he has any good faith argument for disobeying the Court.
