Well no shit, it's not like the facts have changed since then. It's just one of many trivial bullshit cases the guy has. It's not like things are developing.
I expect if Chance gets offered a plea deal he'd fuck it up like Baked Alaska by refusing to actually plea guilty, and would instead insist he was legally justified. However considering how scared he acted in front of the cops, there's a chance he might just shut up and let the lawyer tell him what to do. A big flaw of Chance's character is his reckless pride, to the point he'll embarrass himself on livestream to defend against the most petty allegations, and I forsee that leading to him refusing to accept defeat and insisting on arguing his own legal theory. But I'm not sure if fear will suppress that impulse.
It might be smart, but he's terrified of the thought. ANYTHING but being locked up. He doesn't think about long term consequences.
I don't think there's a way in hell Cyrax will take a plea with jail time. He's too delusional to think he has the evidence and everything necessary to take down these "cyber bullies" and get the books off of him. It's going to be a hilarious moment when he tries to speak over the judge and his defender has to tell him to shut his fucking mouth. I mean he's already trying to fire his defender and get another, this is some next level stupid shit he's pulling.
He probably should be. He's repulsive enough I doubt he has much to worry about in the sexual assault department, but his weird appearance, lack of height, and general attitude will mark him for at least bullying and he doesn't take mockery at his expense very well at all.
Because he thinks he can get away with it and have Sally deal with all his problems, because that's how it's been his whole life. I really hope they throw the book at him.
