There's psychiatric help available for you. You live in a cradle-to-grave state. You can go somewhere better than jail to get what you need.

IIRC, if he's a doctor-diagnosed Autist, he qualifies for a bunch of extra disability stuff from the state, including job help (where they will pay an employer to take him on) and probably gets to jump the queues for psychotherapy. He just needs to call whatever psychiatric office he's assigned to, or whoever his social worker is.
