Literally all you need is a screen, the housing, some generic buttons and sticks, a Raspberry Pi and a hard drive. That would cost less than even one of those cabinets, would work as well as any of them, and most importantly would be in one convenient package that would make this room less of a cramped hellscape.

Of course that implies two things. One is that this idiot would be able to put all of that together even with a guide, which (given his ability to budget lmao) is obviously far beyond his mental capabilities. The second is that this retard actually likes to play arcade games at all. I bet those machines get played once a month for like 10 minutes before he gets bored and starts scrolling on Reddit again.

This is a 4D chess move because writing a giant "API" is a thoroughly useless form of protest that even generates ad revenue. It also pisses off everyone else who wants to actually draw, and invites vandals.

Not to defend this faggot, yet that doesn’t tend to work for rhythm games that have wildly different control schemes. Those cabinets are great for everything else, yet this specific sort of niche just so happens to be the most retardedly expensive as literally everything else of note can be stuffed into a MAME machine and played in that.

It's interesting because 4chan's /pol/ (Then known as /new/ if I remember correctly) loved Ron Paul and was heavily libertarian during it's earlier years and ended up turning into the furthest right major place on the internet whereas Reddit went the exact opposite way. I wonder what the reasons are for that.
