Yes, but you would likely need their permission to use the images if we assume that videogame photography operates under the same copyright laws as actual photography. Also, since this is for marketing, it can be for content that hasn’t yet been released to the public; the submission discussed in his video is for a new Elder Scrolls Online mount. I can understand that this is a job that needs doing - someone has to be taking these press-pack screenshots - but to have it be a person’s entire job is just corporate bloat. Marketing is one of those departments that’s just lousy with these useless roles today.

Any role that doesn't directly generate customer revenue fills with them. The only people who have salaries reflective of their work in most entertainment business are the Finance people, Legal, Internal IT's hardware team, and the folks who work with manufacturing for physical media and collectors editions. Their jobs all have direct dollar value measures of success in either revenues, or savings. Everyone else, including every single developer, designer and project lead in the games department, are complete fucking crapshoots for actual value add. Its hard to argue the diversity hire isn't worth the salary when you can barely prove that environmental animator is worth it.

Power level time, as a team technical lead at my job, I am reminded of one of the employees we've had last year. Not a tranny, but simply one of those people you need to micro-manage to get any shit done. I don't give a shit if you slack off at work if you get your shit done(otherwise known as being skilled/talented), if you're good enough at your job that 50% productivity keeps the gears moving for the rest of the team I will let you browse funny memes for the other half of the day.
The annoying shit about the types of people like this tranny or people you have to micro-manage is they often have no talent. They start at 20% productivity if you take your eyes off of them, you spend way too much time on them to get them to put into 50% of their potential productivity, and even then the quality of their work is often so bad that you lose out anyway. They simply don't give a shit about making something with quality, they just want to sneak under the radar and get paid for existing.

They're gonna have a rude awakening then, huh? This shit flies during the good times, when its not worth it to corporate to risk any legal matters - a couple deadbeads when the money is flowing well doesn't sink the ship. But it ain't gonna fly during the bad times, and we're entering them. First time since the tranny movement really kicked off too. I wonder when they'll decide that its transphobic for companies to restructure and that they should just go bankrupt instead.

I am in no way looking forwards to The Great Depression Strikes Back, but by God the catharsis of the associated TTD will sustain me throughout. Hogwarts Legacy was just a taste of what will happen when faggotry stops being the in thing and all the tacit tolerance dries up.

They are, probably, using Active directory. It is easier to make a new user rather than changing existing. But no system administrator would bother to do so, because there are more pressing matters during the work day

Like, that's why so many AAA graphically impressive games come with 'photo modes' now. People have blogs and stuff full of screenshots they've taken.

Very true, most AAA games now have photo modes for people to take pictures of shit in the game, and people will obsessively spend hours upon hours getting those photos for blogs and Youtube videos. It’s a growing phenomenon.

Because why go see the millions upon millions of amazing and beautiful things the real world has to offer when you can take photos of pixels in videogames?
