I hated TERFs until I found KF. Since here I increasingly see their point. I had only ever known serious transpeople, who genuinely felt their gender expression did not match their own experience of how their gender felt to them. So they took the lumps society gave them as they transitioned and at the end they were happy to be transwomen or transmen and did their best to live life as their chosen gender. They were not a threat to female identity because they understood the rules of female identity and flourished under those rules. They felt like women and didn't have to tantrum just because they had no reason to use tampons.
But now you have men who won't even shave demanding that their girl dicks be respected and they should get all the perks of femininity without putting in the work of being female. They shut down pro-choice fund raisers because the organizers mention vaginas and don't they know girls can have penises and boys can have vaginas and create such a stink over their linguistic backflips that they destroy a genuine liberal attempt to do good. There is no topic they will not make about themselves.
Look at transwomen like Sandy Stone and Victoria Kolakowski. Not the most feminine but they live genuine lives, do genuine work and don't use pronouns as a means to pitch a fit every 2o minutes. They're successful and they work hard and TERFs need to leave them alone. But then we get shitcases like Ms Potato Head upthread, Fire, Locria, Leighanna, Chloe, et.al and now I understand everything the TERFs feared - mentally ill men horning in on the female experience, relishing their girl cocks, using resources not meant for them, refusing to stay in their lanes. It's maddening but the enemy of my enemy is now my ideological friend.
