I've played Larian games since Divini 2 Ego Draconis and them doing these kind of quirky scenes with these brand of humor has always been one of their trademarks. Even their logo is a knight with a plunger in it's head.
Also, if you would've played the EA you would've known that the game can be very dark and will pull no punches when doing so. In this regard it's far removed from what you described.
In conclusion, if you want to criticize the game and studio, go for it, there are plenty of reasons for it. But please do it yourself, based on your own experience and not some /v/ copy pasta.

I love facial sliders, it lets me de-uglify current year player characters.

It's amazing how little people learned from the 12+ years since Skyrim was released. If the Nexus is any indication the most popular mods are the RaceGen mod which adds a bunch of new face sliders into the character creator and mods that add a hot female companion who you can romance. Instead of adding this Larian said; "Fuck you!" because in current year playing as a beautiful female character is problematic to feminists and trannies (I am not joking. In recent years some devs have let it slip that they purposefully make female characters ugly because trannies and feminists feel intimidated by beautiful women. Even the Mary-Sue admitted that they feel threatened by beautiful women like Cammy and Chung-Li in Street Fighter 6.) and they don't want to encourage the "male gaze" by having a hot female companion who swoons over you so instead you get ugly lizard chick who cucks you.

There will be the excuse that "it's all optional skippable content" or "why do you care if the game is good" and so on and so forth.

Just remember, if you gave Larian the benefit of the doubt, you will be less of a faggot if you admit you were wrong. By further doubling down and insisting that Larian isn't inserting fetishes into the game you'll only end up looking like a bigger faggot, and also looking like a degenerate.

It's aggressively worse than if they were just dropping face customization for budget reasons. Deadlines, crunch time, can't get infinite variety, sure, I could understand. Doing faces and animations for 11 races is a legitimately hard task.

But their lead artist explicitly laid out a detailed rationale where someone's face is less important than their underwear.

This isn't some throwaway clickbait joke to get attention on Twitter. She honestly believes that it's more important to get black hairstyles accurate to their real-world form, than to write your character's heritage into the face you will be seeing during every dialog tree. They can't be bothered to translate the D&D morality system or its effects, because it would get in the way of their supposedly clever writing. But they can pay attention to authenticity when it comes to dragonborn pubic hair.

A few days ago someone tried to downplay the gay bear sex, saying you have to really commit hard to a specific, narrow tree to see it. Yeah, but you can't avoid the absence of features that you DID want to see. You can't skip dev laziness.

I loved BG1&2, but I was on the fence for 3 because it seemed too different. That was before all this crap started coming out. Now, as I said, there is no doubt about the developer's intentions. Even if the core gameplay manages something fun, everything surrounding is going to be crap.

I do agree with you that Larian's writing has had irreverent humor pretty much since the beginning (the skeletons in Divine Divinity who realize that skeletons shouldn't be able to talk or walk and crumble into dust come to mind.) I think the issue is partly that this style of humor is something people have become less and less amicable to over the past few years, and that, when these scenes are viewed with the mindset of someone who's already been a bit soured from things, like the dev's whining about white human fighters, it's easier to view these harshly than treat them as some Prachett-esque comedy.
If the game comes out and the writing's stellar in the main story, then great, and people may become more forgiving towards the interspersed comedy scenes, but I don't fault people for seeing clips like this, hearing the buzz around things like bear sex and genital selection, and defaulting to assuming the writing will be bad across the board, even if it doesn't turn out to be true in the end.

I personally never cared to follow the news and controversy. When they first announced the game, some 3y ago, I checked it out, then tuned everything out until very recently when I heard there's a release date so I bought the game and played a bit in the EA. From what I've seen so far, I like the game and I think it has the potential to turn out great. On this topic, though, time will tell.

I look at this situation as follows.
First, they're belgians so they're retarded fags and cucks as a default setting.
Second, we're dealing with WotC which is in current year so pozzed it's basically farting AIDS.
Third, in an ironic display, they actually listened to the user base. But, the chinese were right in saying "Be careful what you wish for". It's no secret that coom mods and romances are popular and are becoming more popular due to current society ills, so, is it any wonder the devs gave it's user base what exactly they wanted, and that being super loaded degeneracy?
Yet, despite everything, there's a semblance of balance, because most everything is optional. Nothing is forced unto you.
Sure, you have fag sex and bear fag sex, but unless you look for it, it will never be an issue. At the other end of the scale, you also have the option to kill these fags, sometimes when first you meet them. I recently killed and decapitated a romance option and later on, I slaughtered an entire group of tree hugging hippies, then fucked some slut between their corpses and blood. An alternative to this, that I experienced with another character, was just some intimate talk and wine and nothing more then my aching blue balls.
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that as long as there are choices and nothing is forced unto you or you're being railroaded, then I see no real problem. If you look for things to get mad about, no matter what side of the faggot cultural war you're on, then that's just fucking embarrassing and autistic. I made the mistake of spending some time on /v/ and I've seen the same shit there that I see in this thread and it's just to tiresome rehashing the same talking points and people never actually doing their own thinking.

Anyway, genital customization would honestly be fine with me, and it's clearly just there as another marketing thing. It was the same with Cyberpunk letting you put a dick on female V, ultimately it is an optional thing that doesn't really matter to anyone who doesn't want to be a freaky dickwoman or a troon.

My non-existent money is on this still being a follow-on from them realising most people just make Tom Cruise without the height issues.
I'm sure they inferred from that that it's probably mostly going to be normies playing their game, and they don't like that.
So, fill the game with degeneracy and sex scenes, probably have a few dozen characters that preach about IRL politics, and whatever other idea helps make sure only politispergs and troons and journalists will want to buy their product.
