You'd think she of all people would remember the 15 million Chinese civilians the Japanese murdered during the war. Nuclear bombs are horrific weapons but considering the Japanese military's abject refusal to surrender under any circumstance and the alternatives (an invasion of the home islands leading to millions of casualties on both sides, a blockade leading to mass starvation in Japan, or letting the USSR get in on the fun (since that worked so well for North Korea)), the bombs were probably the only way to slap sense into them. I do feel bad for the innocent civilians who had their family members and/or themselves destroyed by the nukes but war is war and the bombs most likely resulted in less casualties than the alternatives.

I've noticed that the highest concentration of derelicts are in highly populated areas. I've rarely run into homeless people (van lifers don't count) in the remote areas we've explored.

These people in question are not Americans. Back in the hey days of old, we just simply call these people grifters and just get on our day. If I recall, the people liking Russia and China were using that as a troll (well, the smarter ones, at least), initially to combat the fact that women who complain about how unfair treatments in Saudi Arabia would be the same ones that complain about “Islamophobia” because women complain how terrorist attacks are being done by people of the Muslim faith.
Again, it’s strange, but the people that do this is for the sake of grifting, not because they have compassion for their fellow “oppressed victims”.

Dont cons hate China and Russia, especially the mainstream cons. Neocons simp for china and russia maybe, a bit but everybody else on the right hate those three you mentioned. Same for progs, progs hate Japan cause they dont accept cultural assimilation easily and are quite heavy handed when it comes to cultural pollution and foreigners as much as they pretend it doesnt happen and Japan is a progressive utopia unlike what the filthy chuds believe. Japan literally used to kill foreigners on sight up until the industrial revolution if there was any signs of corruption and malintent, which is why William Adams was one of the only foreigners in history who was successful in getting assimilated and even getting respected by the shogunate. This moralizing about dead civilians wouldn't be happening if the bombs were dropped on Germany. If anything, not considering the immediate incineration of [insert German city that got nuked in the alternative timeline here] the most just punishment would be treated as Nazi apologia.
